Protestant Religious Education Coordinator (PREC)
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITES: The PREC shall serve as the primary coordinator, facilitator, and organizer of all Protestant RE events and elements. Additionally, the PREC will teach pre-approved curriculum for Sunday children’s church service(s) and PWC children’s RE programs when volunteer(s) have not been coordinated.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary Protestant RE Line-of-Sight Supervisor for all events with childcare volunteers; recruit volunteers to serve as Specified Volunteers.
Maintain all volunteers’ identification badges who work with children and oversee proper display and use of childcare worker identification. Non-Specified Volunteers must sign in/out ID badges each time they volunteer.
Serve as the Volunteer Supervisor for all RE volunteers. The PREC will write position description for all RE volunteer positions and submit to the LPC via the PCC.
Submit facility requests to the PCC for all scheduled RE events on chapel property and de-conflicts RE scheduling/facility issues with the Facility Manager.
Attend weekly chapel staff meeting to keep updated on the chapel’s operations and calendar, reports on ongoing assignments, projects, and weekly tasks, and shares feedback from Protestant RE volunteers. This staff meeting requirement can be waved, at the approval of the LPC.
Attend Protestant Advisory Council (PAC) meetings as a non-voting member and brief the PAC on relevant RE issues.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, train, and supervise all Protestant RE volunteers
Program and teach the children’s church programs at all WS(s) when available PWC volunteer support is incapable, unwilling, or unqualified to lead children’s church. A fully trained and properly vetted volunteer can teach children’s church instead of the PREC.
Coordinate HC facility setup, equipment, and resources for all RE programs and events, ensuring facilities are opened before the program starts and fully secured and cleaned after the program ends.
Develop and maintain electronic records.
Recommend curriculum/programing for the next FY’s Protestant RE cycle to the LPC by 15 July of the current year.
Provide pre-approved curriculum/lesson plans to all scheduled RE volunteers at least one week in advance of the volunteer program execution.
Coordinate and facilitate the annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) and other special RE events as requested by the LPC. The PREC will recruit volunteers, register children, and promote the event(s).
Record attendance at all RE programs and events and report numbers on a weekly basis to the PCC.
Assist the LPC or sponsoring chaplain by providing information necessary for reporting in the Air Force Chaplain Corps Activity Reporting System (AFCCARS) or similar contexts as requested.
Publicize all Protestant RE events via CLT approved means.
Plan the annual volunteer appreciation event.
Incorporate children and youth during holiday season for worship specials during WS(s) and special Protestant events ICW the Protestant Music Director and PCC.

The Teacher is responsible for utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based teaching methods to manage the classroom and create an optimal learning environment for all students on their case load. Teachers oversee the IEPs, lessons, and data tracking involved with providing quality ABA services to Alpine students. They communicate daily with parents and collaborate with the Curriculum Specialist, School Director, BCBA, and other school personnel to ensure student success. Teachers actively participate in training (in house and community) and apply what is learned into the classroom.

Consult with Curriculum Specialist, School Director, and BCBA regarding parent concerns and difficult students
Collaborate with fellow teachers as needed

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITES: The PREC shall serve as the primary coordinator, facilitator, and organizer of all Protestant RE events and elements. Additionally, the PREC will teach pre-approved curriculum for Sunday children’s church service(s) and PWC children’s RE programs when volunteer(s) have not been coordinated.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary Protestant RE Line-of-Sight Supervisor for all events with childcare volunteers; recruit volunteers to serve as Specified Volunteers.
Maintain all volunteers’ identification badges who work with children and oversee proper display and use of childcare worker identification. Non-Specified Volunteers must sign in/out ID badges each time they volunteer.
Serve as the Volunteer Supervisor for all RE volunteers. The PREC will write position description for all RE volunteer positions and submit to the LPC via the PCC.
Submit facility requests to the PCC for all scheduled RE events on chapel property and de-conflicts RE scheduling/facility issues with the Facility Manager.
Attend weekly chapel staff meeting to keep updated on the chapel’s operations and calendar, reports on ongoing assignments, projects, and weekly tasks, and shares feedback from Protestant RE volunteers. This staff meeting requirement can be waved, at the approval of the LPC.
Attend Protestant Advisory Council (PAC) meetings as a non-voting member and brief the PAC on relevant RE issues.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, train, and supervise all Protestant RE volunteers
Program and teach the children’s church programs at all WS(s) when available PWC volunteer support is incapable, unwilling, or unqualified to lead children’s church. A fully trained and properly vetted volunteer can teach children’s church instead of the PREC.
Coordinate HC facility setup, equipment, and resources for all RE programs and events, ensuring facilities are opened before the program starts and fully secured and cleaned after the program ends.
Develop and maintain electronic records.
Recommend curriculum/programing for the next FY’s Protestant RE cycle to the LPC by 15 July of the current year.

Reporting to the Head of Primary Years, the Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for daily functions and management of core knowledge areas in the classroom.
Core Purpose
The role of the Primary Years Programme teacher is to provide enjoyable and stimulating educational opportunities with the philosophy and mission of IB at the center of student learning. All teachers are expected to create and implement a curriculum that educates the whole student, specifically focusing on the Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning. Hands-on, Project-based Learning is a priority in stimulating student curiosity and achievement. Classroom
Lead kindergarten classroom responsible for all aspects of student development and classroom growth
Develop stimulating curriculum to enhance student learning experiences
Create nurturing educational environment
Work collaboratively within a PLC to implement IB expectations
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
Partner with parents/guardians to help address student needs

Utilize the CVWS IB Templates as the foundation for creating Weekly Lesson Plans while incorporating other school curriculum and approved resources.
Tracking and monitor student progress through Toddle to grade-specific standards by using the Learning Target Checklist.
Actively participate in PLC’s to create a transdisciplinary approach to instruction and integrate into project-based learning.
Complete reflection surveys/interviews.
Develop students in mind, body, and sprit:
Integrate with Creation Village’s classroom management, instruction, and routines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate room that creates a safe and enjoyable learning environment for the students.
Observe, evaluate, document, and report each student's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health to the lead teacher.
Identify students showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and report the situation to the lead teacher, Dean, or Head of School.
Meet with the Head of Academics to discuss each student's progress and needs, determine their priorities for the student, and suggest ways to promote learning and development.
Involvement and leadership in an extracurricular club, activity, or organization as determined by the teacher and Head of Academics.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the educational field
• Relevant teaching experience in Elementary School (3+ years preferred)
