This person must meet the background screening as defined in OAC code 5101:2-5-09. Demonstrates consideration, understanding and humility for the diversity of the children and families served by Pathway. Job Duties include: Educate young children specific to the individual's assessed needs, abilities, and readiness to learn Facilitate skills development groups and activities. Develop and/or facilitate parent and /or childcare staff training Implement strength-based resiliency and skill building prevention curriculum for indicated and/or selected population in assigned early childhood programs Develop and facilitate parent-child events to support social/emotional development and parent education around behavior management, resiliency, and prevention. Provide parent consultations and strengthen parent involvement. Provide coordination and referral to community services, as needed. Act as an advocate for young children, their families, and childcare providers.
