BB&N is seeking applicants for a full-time collaborative residency program between BB&N and Lesley University. This unique collaboration connects theory with practice in a comprehensive manner. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As our entry-level Teacher's Aide, you'll coordinate with the special education teacher to help students during educational, therapeutic, and direct care activities. Working with assigned students, you'll get them involved in the classroom activities and handle direct care functions as needed (eating, toileting, personal hygiene, etc.).
You'll learn state curriculum frameworks, help with updating and maintaining student records, and lead classroom activities during teacher planning days. Over time, you'll keep an eye on the students' progress and provide input during evaluation periods like annual summaries and six-month reviews. Always cheerful, friendly, and respectful, you'll be a bright spot in our students' days!
