Responsibilities
Depending on your rating (AE or AT), you may:

Test and calibrate aircraft instruments and automatic flight controls.

Work Environment
AV technicians serve at sea and ashore worldwide. Work may be performed in hangars, onboard aircraft carriers, in labs, or outdoors on flight lines. You'll work closely with other technicians, often with minimal supervision, in both technical and operational settings.
Training & Advancement
Class "A" Technical School - Pensacola, FL (18-26 weeks) Covers aviation theory, electrical systems, electronics theory, and technical skills. After training, Sailors are assigned to AE or AT ratings and may serve at naval air stations, squadrons, or aboard carriers. Advanced training is available for specific aircraft and systems.

What You'll Do
Collaborate Consultatively: Work with customers, stakeholders, and Product Managers to design and deliver solutions that solve real-world business challenges.
Code with Impact: Build and maintain high-quality backend systems using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Redis, Elasticsearch, and SQL/PostgreSQL, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
Lead Database Migration: Drive the migration of our platform from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity, performance, and a seamless transition.
Build and Optimize ORMs: Design and implement efficient Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) solutions to support our platform's data needs.
Engage in Full-Cycle Development: From gathering requirements and designing new features to coding, testing, and deployment.
Support Customers: Collaborate with customers to resolve escalated issues and ensure their success with our platform.
Contribute to Team Success: Participate in daily standups, drive projects to completion, and mentor others as the company grows.
Stay Curious: Continuously learn new technologies and best practices to keep your skills sharp and our platform cutting-edge.
Who You Are
Technical Expert: 7+ years of experience in web application development with deep expertise in SQL (SQL Server or PostgreSQL), C# and data-driven applications.
Database Guru: Scrapy and hands on experience managing live production environments, SQL tuning, and optimization. Experience or strong interest in migrating databases and entire platforms from SQL Server to PostgreSQL a big plus.
ORM Specialist: Proven ability to design and implement efficient ORMs for complex applications and how they interact with data-tiers.
Business-Minded: You understand (and thrive on) business outcomes and enjoy translating stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding and solving customer problems through direct engagement.
Organized & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a pixel-perfect eye for detail.
Action-Oriented: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with a bias for action and creative problem-solving.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
