Job Summary - Data Center Construction Lead Tech: The primary responsibilities of the Network Technician-Data Center is to support the installation of infrastructure including but not limited to racks, cabinets, cage walls, hot/cold isle containment, grounding, fiber guide, Unistrut, and ladder rack, structured cabling, maintain control of inside plant (ISP) activities surrounding the assigned work site(s), read and understand ISP diagrams/drawings, and taking and maintaining accurate field notes. Knowledge of fiber optic cable types, make-up of fiber optic cables, and manufacturer specifications to prevent damage of cables. Knowledge of various manufacturers ISP racks, cabinets, ladder rack, fiber guide and termination panels. Knowledge of cable testing procedures and test equipment. Knowledge of inside plant safety measures. Knowledge of data center security processes and adhere to the measures they put in place. Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications. Ability to pay close attention to detail and make good sound decisions based on information given. Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure. LEAD CHANGEOVER TECHNICIAN Location: Manchester, IA Supervisors Title: Production Manager In a nutshell: Changeover Technicians set up machines and resin formulas to meet the bills of materials on each order. They orchestrate sectional work activities to ensure efficient manufacturing of a quality product that meets or exceeds expectations. What you'll be doing: Performing changeovers and completes changeover setup form. Arranging for assistance for changeover if needed. Cleaning the blenders and material changes and mixing or overseeing the mixing of resins in middle and small area. Completing the paperwork for production sheet, labor log, scrap sheet and daily functional check sheet and ensuring scrap gets weighed and recorded on shift paperwork. Setting secondary equipment (printer, punches, etc.) and testing for functionality. Watching for stack light alerts and making machine adjustments as needed for the Packer/Inspectors. Performing quality checks front to back (resins, silos, computer information, blender settings, etc.). Ensuring auxiliary equipment is in working condition (press, vents V-board, etc.) and making sure the ink room is in proper order.
