The stipend amount will be divided in equal parts and paid to the teacher twice-a-month month for the duration of the role. For example, a person in an 11-month teacher leader position will receive 1/11 of the stipend amount on each paycheck, assuming the teacher leader remains in the role for the duration of the 11-month school year.

Participation in the teacher leader roles requires active and full participation. Specifically, teacher leaders must attend all specified meetings, assigned professional development sessions, and designated work sessions. In-person sessions must be attended in-person; remote accommodations and make-up work will not be available due to the burden this places on the facilitator, the value of in person participation, and the inequity this creates for other participants required to meet in-person. Teacher leaders may be required to drive to other school sites after the regular school day. Teacher leaders must have the ability to drive by car to attend meetings, as needed, both after school and during non-work hours. Mileage is reimbursed at the rate required by law.
