We are currently seeking Infrastructure Support Technicians to be engaged on site at a major pharmaceutical institution in Kalamazoo, MI. This is a long-term project:
Infrastructure Support Technician - Perform physical installation/replacement, rack and stack, update documentation of network equipment per the Customer installation and qualification guidelines. In Data Centers and server rooms, lay and maintain cabling for networking and storage and removal of cables when no longer needed. Document all cabling modifications (additions, moves, deletions).
Scope:
On-Site Data Center Support is required from 8am - 5pm or 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday. Each Infrastructure Support tech will be assigned a 9 hour shift (1 Hr. for lunch) to help support these hours of operation
After Hours Support - These resources will be required to support a rotating schedule to manage “After Hours” Hands and Eyes Support Requirements for these site. The Tech will occasionally be required to return to the site sometime in the evening or on the weekend.
Tape Loads on the weekends - These Techs will also maintain a rotating schedule to support “Tape Load” requirements in the Data Centers on the weekends.
Assist the client in the asset management process. Using the client's Asset Management database, the tech will have to enter updates for any new hardware installed and remove entries for all hardware they replace.
Rack and Stack Servers - With the guidance of the client, the techs will have to install new servers (HP, Dell or IBM systems) into the existing racks
Provide “Hands & Eyes” Support to the other internal Technical Teams. With the leadership of other teams, the techs will take direction from another Technical resource and follow their guidance to help support data center tasks; i.e. check the status of a server, check the error lights on one of the network switches, patch a particular port on a router or panel etc.
Hands and Eyes Support will also be required in support of many other data center requests
Help manage the tape loads, backup and offsite storage requirements
Data Center Power-Down / Up assistance - Occasionally, the client may be required to power down the data center (testing, cooling, electrical work or other facility related requirements). Our staff will be required to help support the requirements to power-down and/or power-up the data center (most of the time, this work will occur over a weekend).
Documentation / Labeling / Mapping - The tech will be required to help support and maintain the data center documentation
Site Escort - The Tech will also be required to meet and escort visitors or other vendors to the data center

Lead technician job in New Buffalo, MI
Leads the AVL Technician team in projects, installs, events and performances throughout all properties. The Lead AVL Technician serves as a key point of contact for technical troubleshooting and project execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Coordinates, assigns and leads a team of AVL Technicians during events, conferences, and performances.
Acts as Lead point of contact for AV projects and installs.
Installs, configures, operates and troubleshoots commercial AV systems, including video conferencing, control systems, audio distribution, digital signage, and projection systems.
Supports internal and external events across multiple departments by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment for events, conferences, and performances.
Communicates with clients and performers regarding AVL needs.
Manages AVL equipment inventory and maintenance.
Assists with a variety of production related preparation, planning, and facilitation at all Four Winds properties.
Generates technical documentation such as stage plots, signal flow plans, lighting plots, and others as needed.
Assists with event setup and tear-down at the direction of Entertainment Manager.
Possesses strong knowledge of digital signal flow, video projection systems, video switching and camera operation, audio systems and consoles and stage lighting systems and consoles.
Possesses strong knowledge of AMX, Dante, Q-Sys, and other systems, controllers, and equipment commonly used by the department.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient with and able to properly operate audio mixing consoles, digital lighting consoles, video and camera switchers.
Strong understanding of AMX, Q-Sys, and Dante systems.
Strong understanding of digital signal flow and equipment troubleshooting required.
CTS or CTS-I certification preferred.
Excellent communications skills and organizational skills required. Must be computer-literate with basic word processing and spreadsheet skills.
This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
