Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Reviews work to ensure production and accuracy of systems configuration, licenses, and optimization. * Reviews Communications Service Agreement (CSA) requirements for USAF compliance. * Develops and submits reports to meet functional, contractual, and compliance requirements. * Conduct special communications management studies (traffic analysis, Fill Rate) as required. * Works to install, test, program, maintain, and inspect UC and legacy voice systems and associated sub-systems (circuits, trunks, interface units, channel banks, alarm, and other associated equipment). * Manages, programs, and operates UC, voicemail (V/M), and converged network platforms. * Manages power system(s) platforms in support of Unified Communications Systems. * Performs diagnostics, isolation, and corrective action on UC and other sub-systems to resolve outages. * Coordinates with commercial agencies on necessary circuit assignments, activations and terminations (Bell South, MCI, Sprint, AT&T. etc.). * Performs work in the field as a field technician to install customer premise equipment as needed. * Performs technical solutions and costing projections for projects. * May solicit market research for communications projects; reviews and recommends the selection of vendor proposals. * Perform periodic preventative maintenance inspections and systems maintenance actions to ensure optimal delivery of services and longevity of system resources. * Monitors results against technical specifications. * Assists in developing and maintaining technical documentation. * Document, track, and update any local tracking system or database system for the purpose of workload and metric reporting. * Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements. Job Requirements Mandatory: * 3+ years of experience with Information Technology solutions. Or 3 years of experience and an accredited bachelor's degree in an IT field. * High School diploma required.
