Job Title: Directly Responsible To: Temporary In-home Based Instruction - Tutor Teacher JR SR High School Principal Primary Function: As a tutor teacher for home-based instruction, your primary responsibility is to provide individualized educational support to students who are unable to attend school in person due to medical, disciplinary, or other approved reasons. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: MENTAL DEMANDS Required to deal with a wide range of student, staff and public behaviors and needs in a positive and service-oriented manner. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Amount of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and twisting will vary depending on the age of students and classroom assignments. Physical capabilities also require lifting and carrying (no more than 50 lbs.) pushing and/or pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, and significant finger dexterity.
