Essential Functions
Analyzes and properly vets all bid opportunities to ensure viability. Reviews the bid calendar and schedules bid reviews
Attends pre-bid meetings and job walks, ensuring sufficient understanding of the job scope
Reads and interprets drawings, specifications, and addenda accurately.
Review historical production rates, material pricing, and equipment utilization.
Applies all collected information to the job bid to ensure accuracy
Intentionally collects information through available channels and applies it to the bidding process to deliver an accurate, well-organized, detailed, and timely bid
Performs project takeoffs using BlueBeam
Recommends profitability for estimated projects
Presents bids to customers
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders (including Project Managers, Field Operations, and Customers) regarding the bid. Supports project handoff to the assigned Project Manager
operations, and customers
Provides excellent client service and encourages growth and repeat business by establishing and maintaining successful business relationships

This position will be located at the Subtropolis in Kansas City, KS and will be a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing all front-end operations of a federal digitalization effort involving physical mail intake and document scanning. This includes coordinating activities across multiple subcontractor-managed and co-managed intake sites, overseeing logistics, document handling, scanning quality, and remittance processing. The Intake Lead ensures site standard operating procedures are followed, SLAs are met, and intake operations integrate seamlessly with downstream processing workflows.
Oversee the full lifecycle of physical document intake operations at all contractor and partner-operated sites.
Create, conform, and update (as required) standard operating procedures.
Coordinate secure receipt, barcoding, and logging of millions of incoming submissions per year.
Standardize and supervise the opening, sorting, categorization, and preparation of documents for scanning.
Manage high-volume scanning operations, including envelope and content imaging, with quality control checks for legibility and completeness.
Identify, record, and route all discovered payments and remittances (checks, money orders, etc.) in accordance with client protocol:
Handle exception documents, such as imperfect or misrouted submissions, with 2-day routing and tracking.
Oversee site compliance with client requirements, NARA retention, and PII/FTI protection standards.
Oversee and manage efforts of site technical lead and facility manager. Ensure all efforts are in compliance with NIST security regulations and requirements.
Coordinate with logistics vendors for physical shipment reconciliation, secure returns, and inter-site document transfers.

* Ensure the safety and well-being of youth in our program.
* Lead age-appropriate enrichment opportunities including games, arts and crafts, STEM projects, and physical activity.
* Consistently model positive interactions and discipline by teaching and redirecting rather than scolding; firmly enforce rules while treating all children with dignity and respect to help build their self-esteem and sense of self-worth.
* Follow all policies and procedures to meet or exceed YMCA, school district and state guidelines
* Positively ID individuals picking-up before releasing children.
* Identify emergency situations then respond quickly and appropriately.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and fellow YMCA team members.
* Be prompt and dependable to work scheduled hours; providing proper notice for time off and working with supervisor on coverage for day(s) requested off.
* Clean and pick up areas used by the program, as needed.
* All youth development associates are mandated by the state of Kansas and Missouri to report suspected child abuse and neglect and must notify appropriate associates of any suspected abuse, unsafe conditions, needed repairs, complaints, accidents or injuries immediately.
Youth Development Leaders also provide direct supervision in leading a group of children on their own.
Qualifications
Youth Assistant Job Qualifications:
* Minimum age of 16.
* Understanding of and ability to apply principles of quality youth development and programming.
* Sensitivity to clientele and staff representing a variety of family, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
* Active engagement with and supervision of children requiring physical stamina, alertness and emotional stability.
* Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Youth Leader Job Qualifications
* Minimum age of 18.
* High school diploma or equivalent required at Kansas sites.
* One year or more of college preferred.
* Previous experience working with school age children (may include working as a babysitter, nanny or other childcare program).
* Commitment to provide quality youth development services at all levels.
