Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Assembly Lead to oversee a team responsible for assembling parts for satellite systems in a manufacturing facility. This hands-on role combines leadership, technical expertise, and production oversight to ensure high-quality assembly of electrical and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting blueprints, using precision tools, and guiding team members to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in the assembly of satellite system components.
Interpret and apply blueprints and technical drawings during assembly.
Assemble electrical and mechanical parts manually, following prescribed procedures.
Use measurement equipment such as scales, calipers, and multimeters.
Utilize small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for precise assembly.
Clean and package assembled parts in protective materials.

The PSV Lead will work along side and lead the PSV Technicians in the testing, inspecting, and repairing all spring operated and pilot operated PRVs. Maintains knowledge of ASME, NBIC, and API codes.
Teaches/mentors apprentice-level employees to become leads.
Tests and repairs all spring-operated and pilot operated relief valves including AGCO, Consolidated, Crosby, Farris, Mercer, Taylor, etc.
Services API/ANSI/other valves per customer and valve specifications.
Maintains complete familiarity with testing/setting vapor and liquid valves under NBBIC and company VR manual.
Follows manufacture manuals and critical dimension for repair.

* Supervises day to day facility operations to meet required production rates and monitors operating data to minimize problems and downtime.
* Ensures that established regulatory environmental and safety standards are maintained. Supervises all emergency response activities and decisions relative to the safety of the facilities and the surrounding area.
* Supervises subordinates in performing their job duties in a safe and efficient manner. Administers performance reviews for subordinates and administers disciplinary action when warranted. Ensures all departmental manuals are kept current.
* Develops and administers training courses pertinent to Operations to ensure personnel qualifications are maintained to comply with all regulatory requirements.
* Develops and maintains operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Ensures operating parameters are within the limits of the design of the equipment.
* Participates in DOT and PHMSA audits as well as maintains all required operational documentation to stay within compliance.
Secondary Duties:
* May perform one or more multi-skilled operations, maintenance and installation duties in addition to the primary roles and responsibilities listed above. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: measurement, electronics, dehydration, treating, corrosion, pipeline, compressor and regulatory compliance functions.
