ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Cybersecurity Lead will oversee Information System Security Management (ISSM) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) responsibilities across multiple classified networks. This role ensures the security, compliance, and operational integrity of classified systems, including auditing logs, managing risks, and supporting incident response. The position also involves developing security policies and procedures, maintaining documentation for certification and accreditation, and mentoring junior cybersecurity staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as ISSM/ISSO for multiple classified networks, ensuring compliance with federal and DoD cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ICD 503, CNSS, DAAPM, JSIG, RMF).

THE SKILLSET:

Strong knowledge of federal and DoD cybersecurity policies, regulations, and frameworks.
Familiarity with security tools (SIEMs, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and automated patch management.

Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., civil engineering, water resources, bridges and structures, etc.)
