As a Cabin Leader, you'll guide a group of campers each week, caring for their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs while helping them grow in faith and experience all camp has to offer.
What You'll Do:
Lead daily Bible time, devotions, and memory verse activities
Build relationships and get to know each camper individually
Manage daily cabin routines-schedules, clean-up, lights out, and more
Help campers sign up for and enjoy daily camp activities
Track health needs and assist with med delivery as needed
Communicate with your Village Leader about camper needs and cabin updates
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming cabin environment
Write camper notes and participate in weekly check-ins
Assist with camper arrival/departure on weekends
Participate in other camp activities as planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, as the schedule allows, mainly after dinner hours.

Our Camp Juniper Knoll overnight camp is a place where energetic and passionate staff come together to provide a safe and positive learning environment for girls ages 5-17.
As a Trip Leader you will be critical to the success of the summer as part of the leadership team and the first-line resource for problem solving for campers and counselors on off-site trips. In this role you will supervise and guide campers and counselors through progressive learning experiences specifically on field trips and adventure-based activities and live on site in a camper unit.

Camp is closed June 19 and July 3-5; these days are unpaid

Qualifications: Required Minimum age of 18.
Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR/AED provided by YMCA or other certified organization Minimum of one (1) season experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field.
Possess or acquire the required certifications for specific program areas.
Demonstrated ability to keep accurate records and organize program area logistics.

Work Conditions: Must have the physical ability to lead and participate in camp activities which include, but are not limited to, hiking, canoeing, swimming, team building initiatives, building campfires, physical games, and activities.
Must be capable of carrying loads of up to 90 pounds and able to traverse hilly and uneven terrain without undue exertion.
Work in conditions that will create dirt and dust.
Work in conditions that may require staff to use fire protection equipment, washers and dryers, dishwashers, and specialty program equipment.
Some may be asked to drive camp vehicles or watercraft.
