This role partners closely with the OneSource General Manager to ensure standardized, high-quality service delivery and consistent customer responsiveness across all supported sites.
The OneSource Laboratory Services Leader works in close collaboration with the customer stakeholders, and internal service leadership to ensure laboratory support services, including Glasswash and Autoclave Operations, Media and Buffer Preparation, Laboratory Automation Support, and Flow Cytometry Services are executed in compliance with regulatory, safety, and contractual requirements. The role is accountable for tracking, analyzing, and reporting critical KPIs while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
This position requires regional and site-based travel based on business and customer needs, with the ability to travel by air, vehicle, or other approved means as required.
Job Responsibilities
OneSource Laboratory Services Operations, Quality & Compliance
* Partner with customer stakeholders and internal OneSource teams to ensure laboratory support services (e.g., glassware washing and sterilization, media and reagent preparation, lab automation system support, and flow cytometry operations) are delivered with scientific rigor, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure all services are performed in alignment with Good Laboratory practices , EHS, biosafety, and site-specific laboratory procedures.

* Mentor, train, and develop on-site OneSource staff in laboratory support operations, scientific workflows, customer communication, and service excellence.

* Partner with the service team to drive talent development, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.

DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the Program Manager for the Aspire After School Program, the Instructional Aide provide direct supervision to a group of elementary or middle school aged students (15-20 scholars) during after school hours Mon.-Fri. 1:30 pm 6:00 pm - in providing thematic activities/projects, recreation activities and academic enrichment in a structured environment. Classroom management is a must (ongoing training is provided in this area). Daily attendance is mandatory.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Supervise and engage a cluster of youth by planning and implementing program
activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and consistent with
Aspire Youth Program values.
Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards.
Submit to Program Manager weekly lesson plans of activities that align with theme for
the school year.
Attend mandatory/paid training as required.
Provide homework assistance as necessary in the areas of language arts, mathematics
and reading in a structured, learning environment conducive to academic growth.
Follows Aspire After School Program policies and procedures, including those related to
medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention/reporting, dress code, cell
phone use, and emergencies.
Maintain positive relations with students, parents, and other staff. Model relationship-
building skills in all interactions.
Proactively communicate with supervisor on all operations.
Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism in all interactions at all times.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of:
Working with elementary or middle school age youth groups (minimum of 15-20
students in group).
Complete weekly lesson plans to include special projects/activities, recreational games
(indoor and outdoor) and academic enrichment each day.
Coordinate thematic classroom boards that reflect student learning each week.
Complete daily program paperwork as needed (i.e. class attendance, absence report,
incident report, etc.)
Classroom management for 15-20 students.
Relationship building skills with students.
Work with a team of other Instructional Aides to develop innovative, creative ideas that
develop students academic and social emotional growth.
Ability To:
Maintain a positive attitude while interacting will school aged scholars.
Cultivate and build a learning environment that promotes social-emotional and
academic growth.
Think outside of the box when planning activities for the classroom.
Ability to research elementary school educational sites when developing lesson plans.
Communicate effectively and professional with students, parents, public and staff.
Follow directions given by the Program Manager.
Maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and public.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must be 18 years of age.
2. Must have taken COVID-19 vaccination
3. Must have (a) at least 48 semester college units (please send transcripts with
application, unofficial are acceptable) or (b) Pass the high school exit exams
(administered by the District)
4. TB clearance (please send copy of clearance with application).
5. Must pass DOJ/FBI criminal background check.
6. Must be punctual and reliable.
7. Must have experience working with youth and general knowledge base of core
elementary subjects.
8. Must possess strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
9. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents,
and community partners.
11. Must have sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of
position and to safely supervise childrens activities including ability to occasionally lift
up to 25 pounds.
12. Must be fit for frequent bending and standing.
Non-Exempt, approximately 5.5 hours per day or 28-30 hours per week.
