We are seeking a motivated Leadman to join our Salt Lake City location: 1887 South 700 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104. The Leadman will be responsible for supervising and maintain order in the warehouse. This nonexempt (hourly) position typically reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. The position requires working in accordance with Triple-S Steel job requirements and Safe Methods of Work. Overtime hours may be required to meet our customers’ needs.

+ Safely and properly move steel to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand, forklift, overhead crane or other equipment. Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift material and guide loads; to climb onto vehicles to tie down and release material being loaded. This is continuous daily activity.
+ Train new team members on will calls, deliver orders, check stock, use computers etc.

- Work in conjunction with the Shift Supervisor with warehouse personnel (including assisting with: coaching, performance reviews, training/re-training, rewarding/disciplinary actions, handle conflict management/resolution, vacations and/or overtime scheduling).
- Assist the Shift Supervisor in coordinating production (including time scheduling, supporting processing schedules, support scheduling with traffic department – CPU's, receiving, controlling overtime)

- Review/Enforce proper paperwork and procedures regarding production and personnel.
- HR/Safety manager will work closely with and assist shift managers and shift supervisors regarding all legal, safety and personnel issues.

- Work closely with other shifts/applicable managers on all major decisions.
