Role Summary
Facilities Technicians work with the Rocky Mountain Program Team to ensure that the buildings, property, grounds, and equipment of COBS are constructed, repaired, and maintained to support a safe and efficient working environment for staff and students.
The primary focus of the position is to support the upkeep and maintenance of facilities and equipment within the Rocky Mountain Program (RMP) and Southwest program (SWP). This includes, but is not limited to, the Leadville Mountain Center (LMC), the Moab base, and remote locations including the Champion sites. Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Take ownership of identifying, troubleshooting, and addressing maintenance needs and facility improvements, performing preventative maintenance and hands-on repairs across equipment, buildings, and grounds, and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of equipment, building materials, and shop consumables.
• Support seasonal basecamp openings and closings and assist with construction and improvement projects as assigned.

**Job Summary:**
As a Ticket Checker, you will play an essential role in creating an experience of a lifetime for our guests on the Lift Experience Team. The Lift Experience Team's mission is to provide employees and guests with a seamless end-to-end experience from maze entrance to lift unloading. As a Ticket Checker, you will primarily work in the lift mazes by greeting guests by name and validating their access every time. You will play a unique role at our resorts by providing a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring our products' integrity.
**Job Specifications:**
+ Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Deliver premium guest service by providing information and assistance with a smile
+ Validate tickets to ensure our guests have their own valid product before loading our lifts
+ Work cooperatively with Lift Operators and other teams to ensure lift lines are safely managed and lifts are loaded efficiently
+ Maintain and secure departmental equipment - scan devices, radios, etc.
+ Escalate issues to leadership as they arise, from safety to products
+ Other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements:**
+ Must be able to communicate fluently in English
+ Must be able to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces. · May need to provide some of their own gear
+ Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
+ Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner

A Ticket Checker team member is a flexible employee who often takes on additional training to work across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

+ Base Area Operation
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Job DescriptionDescription:
During the summer, interns are trained to support Wilderness Program courses. Interns work collaboratively to prepare for, implement/facilitate, and evaluate courses that can range from one to fourteen days. These courses may take place at our wilderness site or in a mobile format, including camping, canoeing, or rafting trips in both Colorado and Utah. Interns gain experience with program activities and adaptations that include hiking, canoeing, kayaking, zip-lining, climbing, white-water rafting, and more.
During the winter, interns are trained to support the Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Program. Interns work closely with staff and volunteers to help facilitate adaptive alpine skiing and snowboarding lessons at Breckenridge and Keystone Resorts. They will assist with participant support, equipment preparation, lesson logistics, and group programming while learning about adaptive equipment and instructional techniques.
Participants in both programs include people of all ages and abilities. BOEC serves children with sensory processing disorders, youth and adults with visual impairments, historically disadvantaged youth, adults with traumatic brain injuries, children with hemophilia, people with spinal cord injuries, adults with multiple sclerosis, and many others across a wide spectrum of disabilities and diagnoses.
In both seasons, interns are deeply involved in course and program delivery from start to finish. Interns serve in support roles and will not manage a course or lesson without the guidance and supervision of our experienced Course Directors and Instructors. Interns are never the sole risk managers; even those with prior experience are supported by paid staff, especially in mitigating risk throughout programming.
Lastly, interns play a pivotal role in creating a positive experience for all individuals who help BOEC fulfill its mission. They support, empower, and engage with staff, volunteers, participants, and fellow interns-helping to foster community and ensure meaningful experiences for all.
Requirements:
All interns must be twenty-one years of age, have current First Aid and CPR certifications, health insurance coverage, and the ability to commit to the entire season. Ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes initiative, some experience in our programming areas, and some experience working with people with disabilities and special needs. All interns must have a strong sense of hard work, flexibility, a love of the outdoors, an open mind, and a love for working with people.
