About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Associate assists the Human Resources department in carrying out various programs and procedures for all Rising Ground's employees, which may include: sourcing and screening resumes, conducting interviews, support onboarding processes, managing communication, responding to employee requests and questions, maintaining ATS and HRIS database and personnel files, compliance and internal controls for the Passage of Hope (POH) program. This critical support position will supply services and solutions to support the people, processes, and technologies within the Human Resources talent acquisition and onboarding areas. As part of our People team, you'll help us attract, hire and retain the top talent we need to achieve our vision.
Responsibilities
* Source, screen, interview and assist with onboarding of qualified candidates to fulfill POH program roles.
* Utilize multiple avenues to find the best talent including job boards, social media, hiring events, networking (job resource centers e.g. workforce1), etc.
* Maintain and develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for future open entry-level positions.
* Assist and/or attend job/career fairs and other Talent Acquisition activities as necessary.
* Partner with POH's assigned onboarding specialist to facilitate the onboarding process for POH's new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into Rising Ground.
* Offer support to the overall TA unit, with the ability to travel to different worksites to deliver candidate and employee-focused experiences.
* Delivers a superb candidate experience that begins with the initial phone call through delivering onboarding.
* Creates, compiles, or designs services and events that communicate the organization's information, and services aligned by mission; Builds and manages employer branding and visibility to external candidates.
* Implements recruitment processes related to the recruitment cycle, vacancy announcement, screening, coordinating interviews, offer extension, conducting reference checks, and informing employees of their hiring status.

About the Role
The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination and request of the travel arrangements needed to reunify a person supported with his/her sponsor. The Travel Coordinator will also coordinate any other travel arrangements needed for the person supported during their placement at Rising Ground. The Travel Coordinator will supervise travel staff in the program.
Responsibilities
Directly supervises a team of twenty-two (22) Travel team members in the Unaccompanied Children (UC) program.
Ensures that all travel needs are planned, organized, and executed in a timely manner.
Provides monthly group and individual supervision of the travel team.
Submits travel requests with MVM to secure discharge travel arrangements for the person supported. This includes reviewing the reunification sheet, transportation dashboard and transportation summary to submit transportation requests into the Box.
Contact MVM Command Center to verify if travel arrangements were made for person supported.
For age redetermination or age out cases, obtains a suitable ticket for person supported and staff escort that is cost-effective for the agency, via internet searches on various airline sites.
Connects with the Case Manager and Lead Case Manager to ensure all outstanding FFS recommendations have been fulfilled, portal exits are completed, and request of weekend submissions.
Coordinates with the Travel Team members in transporting the person supported to their sponsors, as needed, to locations two-hour radius from the residence of the person supported.
Maintain open communication with the directors of travel, residential management, medical team, and case management team.
Create daily assignments and update as deemed necessary for the travel team listing the duties including vehicle inspections, medication pick up, pick up and drop off discharge packets and personal belongings, appointments, and additional driver duties scheduled for the day.
Email the medical team of the person's supported approval from FFS to verify medical clearance to proceed with travel arrangements.
Print, prepare, and file the Predischarge Checklist, in addition to the Itemized Discharge Checkoff List.
Confirm the primary sponsor verification, medical clearance, collection of discharge packets, if PRS is in place and active (when applicable) for the person supported.
Review, prepare, and submit monthly AMEX statement to the finance department for Passage of Hope (POH), i.e. purchases of age out and age redetermination flights, food purchases, and luggage.
Communicate with the sponsors to coordinate local travel arrangements within a two-hour radius from the person's supported residence.
Participates and attends all required program related meetings and conferences.
Works effectively with other professionals in the field.
Awareness of issues affecting the person supported, i.e. AWOL risks, 1 to 1 supervision.
On call evenings and weekends to support the day travel coordinator and other travel members as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
• Reports directly to the assigned supervisor or covering leadership.
• Support a caseload of 15-18 students across any subject where they need help. Conduct one-on-one
tutoring sessions every week (unless bi-weekly as part of academic plan).
• Meeting students 1x/week for 60-90 minutes in the student's home or nearby in the community to provide
academic support and mentorship (virtually based on current context as per agency's practice). Provide

Responsibilities
The Assistant Program Director Provides support to the Program Director and is a secondary liaison with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).Responsibilities include supervising Case Management and clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans for each youth in the home. The Plus Mentoring program is designed to help juvenile clients make safe decisions and avoid further involvement in the juvenile justice system. The Plus Mentoring team works along with the Department of Probation to provide an alternative to detention group program for high risk youth, ages 13-18 in Brooklyn, and in the Bronx.
The Plus Mentoring team is a group-based mentoring program that helps young adults transform the attitudes and behaviors that led to their involvement with the criminal justice system by developing positive and appropriate relationships and supporting them in making safe decisions in the community. The team is made up of a full-time Program Coordinator and 3 part-time Credible Messenger Mentors. Youth will come together twice weekly as a cohort of up to 16 youth, ages 13-18, with the Plus Mentoring team supporting them. The mentors will utilize the Powersource Curriculum and ROCA Rewire CBT to support the youth to examine their feelings, evaluate their own behaviors and develop strategies for change. Group will also be used for group builders, educational activities, anger reduction strategies, recreational outings, group-based community service activities, and family events to name a few. Youth will also meet with mentors and Program Coordinator on an ad hoc basis throughout the week for one-on-one mentoring as well as for support with case management services.
Responsibilities
Participate in two therapeutic groups per week in Brooklyn on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During this time, the mentors will greet the group participants, prepare for dinner, facilitate group, clean up and process the group/individual progress. Mentors will be available during these hours, and will be available outside of group hours to provide crisis intervention or additional mentoring support to youth, by phone and in person, as needed, for up to 8 hours total per week.
Participate in as many group team-building and family engagement activities as possible, such as recreational outings, community-service activities, etc. The mentors will be included on a rotating on-call list to provide 24 hours/7days a week support for youth.
Participate in all Juvenile Justice and Credible Messenger Mentor-related training.
Participate in individual supervision and treatment team meetings to review youth's progress/challenges and service plan goals.
Collaborate and communicate with the Plus team members regarding case planning services and safety/risk concerns.
Work in partnership with Probation Officers, schools and other community-based organizations to ensure the safety of the youth and to follow through with their participation in court-mandated services.
Model reliable, supportive and positive relationships to help youth navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Build and maintain supportive relationships with the youth that focus on improving problem solving and decision-making skills.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a per-diem position involving 6-8 hours per week. The mentors that are expected to participate in the Brooklyn groups are to be present every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Additional hours will fluctuate to meet the needs of the team and clients. As a team, we are available to clients 24/7/365 and can respond to crises that may emerge. The per diem mentors might be called upon to respond to a crisis/need of a youth and need to be flexible/available to meet the needs of the group members.
Travel: The Plus team provides services to youth and families who reside in Brooklyn and the Bronx. Typically, the mentors will be positioned at the group site. If field work, home visits or school visits need to be conducted, the mentors will provide their own transportation and work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed.

The New York Foundling is the city's premiere provider of evidence based mental health services in the public sector. The Specialized Clinical and Psychiatric Services department provides mental health services through (1) our East Harlem community mental health clinic (article 31), the Home of Integrated Behavioral Health; (2) our four integrated medical and mental health clinics for youth in foster care (29i); (3) our school-based mental health programs; and (4) through our in-home therapy programs throughout the five boroughs. Position Description:

program focuses on supporting Unaccompanied Children (UC) and their sponsors through a national initiative in collaboration with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). This program provides two critical services designed to ensure the safety, stability, and long-term success of these children and their families. The first component, Home Study (HS), involves evaluating the safety and suitability of potential sponsors before a minor is discharged from ORR care. HS workers conduct detailed assessments, including interviews with both the sponsor and the child, home inspections, and evaluations of the sponsor's ability to provide a safe, stable environment. These findings are compiled into a comprehensive report submitted to ORR, which informs decisions about the minor's placement. The second component, Post-Release Services (PRS), offers continued support to UCs and their sponsors after reunification. PRS caseworkers help families connect with essential resources, such as legal representation, healthcare, mental health services, educational opportunities, and community programs. They also monitor the well-being of the child, ensuring their safety and that sponsors meet their responsibilities.
About the Role:
The PRS Level 1 & 2 Supervisor oversees the delivery of PRS to UC's and their sponsors nationwide. A key responsibility is the review and oversight of case documentation and reports prepared by caseworkers. These reports are critical in ensuring accurate communication with ORR, directly impacting decisions about the safety and well-being of the children and families served. The Supervisor ensures all reports meet high standards of quality and compliance, providing guidance to caseworkers as needed. Responsible for ensuring the overall functionality of every dwelling (Home, Apartment, Dorm Room and alike) that encompasses The New York Foundling, DD “Developmental Disabilities” divisional footprint. This responsibility is not limited in any way and includes the entire Structure, Grounds Landscape, Hardscape, Driveway, Parking, Mechanical (Boiler, Hot Water, Generator, Pump and Motor) any and all association to maintenance of dwelling or commercial property are included in this statement.
The AM will be the liaison to all trades, utilities, service providers, and when a dwelling is leased/rented the Landlord and or their assignee, to ensure the dwelling meets the standard of living defined by OPWDD/NYCRR.
The (AM) will assist in the coordination and will serve as one of the liaisons between New York Foundling Hospital, The Developmental Disabilities Division, Area Manager, Utility providers, Fire Department, Building Department, State Health Department, OPWDD and others. The (AM) will remain knowledgeable of all codes, standards and practices generated by regulatory agencies having jurisdiction on dwelling especially OPWDD.
Should the dwelling require maintenance, part replacement or maintenance that exceeds the abilities of New York Foundling maintenance team and/or exceeds $1,500.00 value, the AM must contact the appropriate DD area manager responsible for dwelling to obtain approval to proceed with work. The AM must obtain approval in writing from DD. Moreover, before proceeding with work (repair/replacement) expense, must be approved by the Facilities Senior Manager or Facilities Director. All warranty, other relevant information supporting the expense will be forwarded to the Facilities Coordinator or the Facilities Administrator for pre/post activity or warranty reference.
Proactively inspect each dwelling without limits, he/she will be required to complete comprehensive inspections regularly, for each of the dwellings that make up the New York Foundling portfolio. During each inspection the AM will make certain the dwelling is mechanically, structurally sound that all assets, fixtures and mechanical equipment within the dwelling remain fully operational, maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies. At the time of inspection, AM will document any and all deficiencies. Each deficiency will be recorded electronically, using New York Foundling Hospital approved work order program (Faciltiy4you) so that each deficiency has a unique individual record.
Responsible to oversee all repair, maintenance activity completed within these dwellings to ensure work is completed and meets or exceeds industry standards.
Qualifications
