Responsibilities
Ensures consumer and guardian participation in development of service plan and personal futures plan
Coordinates development of each person(s) served personal futures plan and coordinates scheduling of team meetings (times, dates, locations, etc.) and informs all team members of such
Schedules and chairs screening for program vacancies and develops waiting list for potential consumer vacancies
Monitors to ensure all service sites deliver services in accordance with contractual, legal and regulation requirements and implements/coordinates any necessary plans of correction from a regulatory body
Monitors all incident reports to ensure patterns of incidents are addressed. Shares all incident reports with appropriate external agencies (area programs, social services) when necessary and appropriate. Incidents of consumer abuse, neglect or mistreatment are investigated in a timely and thorough manner. Plan of Correction is initiated to prevent recurrences
Monitors/implements/supervises delivery of service plans and personal futures plan and training of staff. Ensures all written training programs are implemented and revised as needed. Documents consumer progress or regression. Initiates discharge planning if appropriate. Maintains records appropriately
Maintains fiscal spending within limits of approved budget, e.g. household expenses and repairs, vehicle expenses, personnel costs, consultant services
Monitors worker's compensation and unemployment claims for assigned service site(s). Is proactive in efforts to reduce claims and minimize risk/exposure of agency in these areas
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Services. High school diploma or GED equivalent and three years of related job experience may be substituted per area regulations. Exceptions must have written approval from Regional Management
A minimum of two years of verifiable work experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.
One year previous supervisory experience preferred
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. This role will develop and strengthen opportunities for credit and non-credit students to participate in internships, full-time employment, and other work-based learning experiences. The Employer Relations and Work-Based Learning Specialist will collaborate with Career Services and Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) staff who are working to develop integrated Career Services with Brightpoint and CCWA.
The position will focus on developing internships, micro-internships, and job-shadowing experiences for students by leveraging existing employer relationships and cultivating new partnerships. The Employer Relations and Work-Based Learning Specialist will facilitate communication between employers and faculty in relevant academic departments, sharing job, internship, and apprenticeship opportunities. The role will also collaborate with and seek input from department chairs, faculty, advisory boards, and Foundation Office staff while strengthening and building new relationships with employer partners.
The incumbent will co-lead the Work-Based Learning Tracking System Steering Committee (using Salesforce CRM) to connect students and employers for work-based learning opportunities and to track these experiences. The Employer Relations and Work-Based Learning Specialist will also support student-employer connections through online and on-campus job boards and tabling events. Cross-training with CCWA Career Coaches will be an integral component of this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree required. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Strong sense of initiative, focus on student success, and work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support & Child Engagement
Assist with diapering, feeding, transitions, and learning activities.
Engage children in meaningful interactions that support development.
Step into classrooms to support Assistant Teachers during breaks or absences.
Environment & Operational Support
Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and routine.
Support setup and cleanup of materials and classroom activities.
Report supply needs or safety concerns to the leadership team.
Prove support and assistance throughout the school.
Assist with special projects.
Team Collaboration & Communication
Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers and leadership.
Follow classroom routines and directions from Lead or Assistant Teachers.
Model a supportive and flexible team-oriented attitude.
Safety & Licensing Compliance
Supervise children and maintain safety standards.
Follow all policies, procedures, and licensing regulations.
Assist in maintaining child-to-staff ratios and completing classroom tasks.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Previous experience in early childhood settings preferred.
CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
Meets all state-specific licensing and experience requirements.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lifts or moves weight as in lifting, carrying, and holding children and infants of 10 to 60 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, and move freely between classrooms.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
