About the Position:

Bring your kind personality with you when you join our team of dedicated and hardworking staff! Support Aides assist our Certified Nursing Assistants in caring for residents. You will have the opportunity to assist and enhance the day to day lives of our residents through compassionate care and creating a positive atmosphere. Our Support Aides assist with transportation to meals and activities, bed-making, passing snacks and water, and a variety of other tasks.
Shifts are 4-8 hours in length, with AM shifts from 7:00am-11:00am and PM Shifts from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
Requirements:
* Must have a genuine interest in caring for seniors
* Support Aide I positions must be on the Wisconsin CNA Registry, but can be under the age of 18 years old.
Our Wages:
* Our starting rate is between $16.00 and 18.00 + per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
* We pay for high performance! We will review your wage at six months.

The Center Support Aide position is required to facilitate multiple groups and activities, complete Medi-Cal Billing Progress Notes, and drive members in agency vehicles. This position also includes facilitating virtual support groups. Must be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and Zoom.

Required Experience:

Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills; well defined organizational and time management skills, and collaborative work style. Ability to handle intense situations, display good judgment and decision making skills and remain calm and clearheaded under pressure. Conditions of employment include: must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid CA Driver's License, minimum of 2 years driving experience, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and DMV driving record that meets TMHA's current vehicle insurance requirements. May be required to utilize personal vehicle and auto insurance. At the time of hire, other conditions of employment are to comply with a T.B. skin test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result, and receipt of a criminal record clearance through fingerprinting. Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, including booster, or request a medical exemption with a healthcare provider document advising against the vaccine OR an exemption based on a strongly held religious belief or practice per the California Department of Public Health. General Summary Under direct supervision of the RN or PCT, performs routine and delegated unit based activities to assist in providing continuity of a client oriented unit with emphasis on quality service, patient/family satisfaction, continued improvement and high performance.
