What You'll Do
Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.

Requirements:
What You'll Need
High school diploma or GED along with a valid driver's license. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of related leasing experience.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to influence and motivate clients and colleagues.
Knowledge and experience with Compliance to Fair Housing and ADA regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed, must be willing to work on Saturdays.
Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.

To primarily work on all aspects of our onsite apartment leasing. Your efforts will be to handle incoming calls as well as online and in person traffic, lease apartments and prepare leasing files for approval and renewals.
We are open to providing opportunity to train and make a start in Property Management and this is an excellent first step in that direction. We can train you - but we need your strong work ethic, compassion for our residents, personal motivation to do your best, and a good foundation in communication, organization, and computer proficiency.
Heads up, your schedule will vary.
We need you full time, up to 40 hours per week. We're committed to seeing things through and compensate for overtime at time and a half whenever necessary.
Our Leasing Office is accessible to our residents; we start at 8:30 AM and close at 5:30 PM. We're open each Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We ask that you be accessible to those hours and to be available to work up to 3 Saturdays a month.
Your Community Manager will do their best to support any flexibility in the schedule you may need and to accommodate any advance notice of requests for time off. On weeks where you work Saturday, you'll have a business day off.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Greet all residents and prospective residents who visit or call the Leasing Office
Stay informed on surrounding market, community amenities, and floor plans available

Summary
Under the supervision of the Community Manager, Leasing Manager, and/or Assistant Manager, the LeasingConsultant's primary responsibility includes interfacing with prospective residents at the community, handling day-to-day issues with current residents, and coordinating the renewals of existing leases. In this position, LeasingConsultants are the community's most important personnel as they can determine how well a community does in a very competitive marketplace. Specific training for leasingconsultants centers on Fair Housing, closing techniques, and overcoming objections.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide excellent service to all residents, prospects and visitors to the community
Effectively lease apartments in accordance with budget guidelines
Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents
Conduct outside marketing under the direction of the Assistant Manager and the Community Manager
Coordinate the application review for each lease including credit and income verifications and background checks
Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other proper documentation and signatures
Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection
Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms, promote the annual renewal campaign for the community, manage lease renewals and complete lease documents
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Bachelor's Degree preferred
Three to six months related experience and/or training Equivalent combination of education and experience
