DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collects information pertinent to income certifications from the tenants and processes this information to generate annual recertifications. Interacts both with tenants and property managers to ensure timely submission of information and completion of the recertifications. • Verifies income information received from the tenants as per the program regulations and enters the data into Yardi. • Upon completion of the recertifications secures tenants' signatures. • Reviews and maintains the tenants' files according to the program requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit and HOME programs preferred, as well as knowledge of Yardi or a similar affordable housing software program. • At least 3-5 years of experience working with the above programs preferred. A certificate in any or all of the programs a plus. • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. • Excellent people skills, customer service oriented. • Must be highly organized with great attention to details. Must be able to work independently and multi-task. • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual English and Spanish a plus. • Must be computer literate and possess general knowledge of Microsoft Office
