A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEASING AGENT
As a leasing agent, you are the face of our company for potential and current residents. You meet with potential renters and guide them on tours of available units. Friendly and personable, you happily answer any questions they have. Conscientiously, you perform background and credit checks to ensure that potential residents are qualified to rent.
With attention to detail, you prepare leasing documents for those who will soon be moving in. You handle the collection of all security deposits, application fees, and rent payments. In order to provide personalized service, you take the time to build a rapport with current tenants. You also keep an eye on the community facilities such as mailrooms, fitness centers, and laundry rooms to ensure they are clean and organized. When there are changes to rental agreements or upcoming property maintenance projects occurring, you are sure to inform residents in advance. You love chatting with people and feel good about doing your part to ensure a nice home for all those you serve!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEASING AGENT
Current real estate license or the ability to work towards one
Working knowledge about real estate law and leasing practices
Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
Reliable transportation
One year or more of sales experience is preferred. Basic knowledge about real estate and multifamily terminology would be a plus. Resident Services:
Assist residents in setting up their accounts on the online portal during the move-in process.

We are seeking a full-time LeasingConsultant to join our team at The Riverchase Apartments, a 216-unit community located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a LeasingConsultant at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for interacting with prospective and current residents to present the apartment community in its most favorable light while sustaining acceptable levels of occupancy. Additional responsibilites include:
Sales and administrative aspects with occasional light manual labor.

Taking initiative to anticipate and resolve resident issues and inquiries independently. This includes proactively identifying areas for improvement in customer satisfaction and providing solutions or recommendations to Community Manager, thereby contributing to a positive and supportive community experience.
Participating in resident after hours events and may be responsible for certain community outreach efforts to market the desirability of the community.

Completing all administrative aspects (I.E., guest card completion, lease preparation etc.) associated with the leasing or move in process.
Documenting (and potentially helps schedule) routine service needs expressed by residents.
Demonstrating proficiency in property management and CRM software for managing prospect information, resident details, tasks, and follow-ups. This includes accurately logging guest cards, tracking resident interactions, scheduling appointments, and generating reports to support leasing efforts and community goals.
Working effectively as part of a team, fostering open communication and support among community staff, including the Maintenance team and Community Manager. This collaboration ensures that resident needs are met quickly and effectively, promoting a high level of satisfaction within the community.
Taking responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Community Manager.
The ideal LeasingConsultant will have:
Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm + rotating Saturdays, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Previous customer service experience is required. Leasing and/or sales experience is highly preferred!
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office. Experience with Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, and CRM is preferred.

We are looking to add a Part Time Leasing Professional to join our team, a key member of our CLS Living Family. As a Leasing Professional, you will provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents, ensuring that all resident requests are handled promptly and professionally. You will help create a professional and welcoming office environment.
Property Administration
Focus on improving and maintaining the property's curb appeal and cleanliness; contribute wherever possible.
Assist Managers with implementing and maintaining a thorough annual marketing plan. Collaborate closely with Managers to fully utilize all potential marketing avenues and share new ideas.
Perform and record daily follow-up with all prospects; identify and communicate ways to overcome obstacles and close deals.
Maintain strong product knowledge of the property and competitors through consistent market research.
Work with the Manager to establish, implement, and monitor leasing goals and renewal programs to meet required occupancy.
Assist with cleaning the office, common areas, grounds, and apartments as needed to ensure a professional and inviting property, office, and model appearance.
Fill in for other positions when necessary and assist with after-hours emergencies.
Customer Experience & Sales
Ensure the website, listing sites, social media, and marketing materials are always up to date, professional, and appealing. Monitor these platforms regularly and promptly communicate any concerns or opportunities for improvement to the Manager.
Assist Managers in planning, advertising, and managing resident functions and events.
Coordinate advertising events on campus and create partnerships with schools and student programs.
Actively network with student housing professionals in your market, monitor competitors, and build relationships with other industry professionals.
Help Managers maintain a positive reputation and strong relationships with the school and community.
Promote harmonious relations among residents, parents, staff, and the surrounding community while enforcing company policies and standards.
Conduct outreach by spending necessary time on campus and at local businesses to foster cross-advertising and positive relationships.
Ensure property management software is accurate and up to date at all times.
Perform lease processing, administration, and other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications Qualifications
Two to Three years in a sales or customer service role.
