Responsibilities:
This is a full-time position at a designated location responsible for the successful marketing, leasing, and retention at their assigned community. To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate two years of firsthand property management of residents, marketing, and financial management, including the following:
Assist in managing the leasing process, including advertising properties, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease terms.
Ensuring accurate and compliant lease documentation.
Handling resident inquiries and resolving issues promptly?
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract potential residents.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to adjust leasing strategies.
Ensuring all property listings are advertised correctly and efficiently.
Maintaining positive relationships with residents by addressing and resolving any complaints.
Ensuring resident satisfaction and fostering a positive living environment.
Overseeing rent collection and ensuring timely payment from residents.
Preparing reports on leasing activity and occupancy rates.
Supervising and guiding leasing agents and staff.
Setting leasing goals and monitoring performance.
Collaborating with maintenance teams to address property upkeep and repairs.
Ensuring properties are well-maintained and meet safety and health standards.
Management Responsibilities:
The LeasingConsultant will report directly to the Property Manager and/or the Leasing Manager.

Expert in Microsoft Office applications, including the Yardi suite of products
Superb written and verbal skills
2 years of housing marketing and leasing experience
Recent fair housing and industry training.

Overview
Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Leasing Specialist supports and assists with all aspects of the community operations.
Responsibilities
The Leasing Specialist supports and participates in fulfilling the customer service and leasing responsibilities Uphold leasing and marketing standards including telephone marketing, greeting prospective residents, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, showing ready and model apartments, generating quotes, closing, and securing deposits, and assisting the prospective residents with rental application completion and credit verification.
Assist in preparing all paperwork specific to new and renewal lease agreements.
Insert lease renewal rates as approved by Community Manager and assists in delivery of renewal letters to secure lease renewals.
Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed, communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances, implement procedures for collecting on delinquencies, and enforce the lease to maximize revenue.
Assist the Community Manager in organizing community resident activities, preparing newsletters, and maintaining resident loyalty and retention.
Work schedule of 32 hours per week with Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an onsite LeasingConsultant in multi-family housing, hospitality or similar industry is preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
