The Leasing Professional will be responsible for:
Professionally leasing rental apartments to maximize income and achieve property occupancy goals. Conducting apartment and community tours with clients. Ensuring that the leasing sales process is followed correctly. Completing marketing reports, applications and leases as needed. Providing recommendations to management regarding apartment pricing. Implementing outreach marketing efforts to gain referrals from area businesses and employers. Shopping the competition regularly by phone and in person. Establishing professional relationships with competitors to encourage good communication and idea sharing. Assisting with Marketing ideas and suggestions. Follow up on phone, fax and email leads. Educate prospective residents on the application process and requirements. Process applications in a timely manner. Verify the validity of all documents related to the application. Complete credit and background checks on applicants. Inform future residents of their approval status. Prepare new leases. Schedule move-in dates. Conduct inspection for rent-ready apartments Collect all required money for move-in. Assist with leasing office tasks as needed and to cover for others absence.
Qualifications :
1. Minimum 1 year of Leasing, Sales/Customer Service, Administrative experience.
2. PC proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and the Internet.
3. Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communications skills;
4. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail a must.
5. Ability to work with highly confidential information, take initiative and exercise good judgment; Must be a self-starter, capable of identifying needs/requirements.
