Rick Wallace serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of KLA Corporation as well as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Wallace began as an applications engineer at KLA Instruments in 1988, and has held various general management positions throughout his tenure with the company. Earlier in his career, Wallace held positions with Ultratech Stepper and Cypress Semiconductor.Wallace currently serves on the board of directors of Proofpoint., a security and compliance company.Wallace earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and his Master of Science degree in engineering management from Santa Clara University. Wallace lives in the bay area with his wife and three children.

Timothy M. Archer is our president and chief executive officer. Mr. Archer joined us in June 2012 as our executive vice president, chief operating officer. Prior to joining us, he spent 18 years at Novellus Systems, Inc. in various technology development and business leadership roles, including most recently as chief operating officer from January 2011 to June 2012; executive vice president of Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction from September 2009 to January 2011; and executive vice president of the PECVD and Electrofill Business Units from November 2008 to September 2009. His tenure at Novellus also included assignments as senior director of technology for Novellus Systems Japan from 1999 to 2001 and senior director of technology for the Electrofill Business Unit from April 2001 to April 2002. He started his career in 1989 at Tektronix, where he was responsible for process development for high-speed bipolar ICs. Mr. Archer completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Business and earned a B.S. degree in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology.

Gene Lowe was named president and chief executive officer of the new SPX Corporation in 2015. In this leadership role, he is responsible for driving the company’s overall growth and profitability as a diversified, global supplier of infrastructure equipment focused on three key segments: HVAC, detection and measurement, and power. Gene joined SPX in 2008, holding multiple strategic leadership positions, most recently as the president of SPX’s Thermal Equipment and Services segment. His tenure at SPX also includes roles leading the Evaporative Cooling business and the marketing, strategy, and business development functions within the Thermal segment where he focused on driving differentiation through technology innovation and operational initiatives. Prior to joining SPX, Gene held positions with Milliken, Bain & Company and Lazard Technology Partners. Gene earned his MBA with distinguished honors from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and his B.S. in management science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Thomas A. Gendron was named Chairman of the Board on January 23, 2008. From July 1, 2005, Gendron served as President and Chief Executive Officer, and from September 2002 Gendron was President and Chief Operating Officer. He has served Woodward for more than 20 years in both the aircraft and industrial businesses, providing leadership in sales, marketing, business development, and product support management. He also serves on the board of directors for Hexcel Corporation. Prior to joining the company, he held positions with Sundstrand Corporation and Thermotron. Gendron earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and his master's degree in business administration from Rockford College.

Mr. Butchko currently serves as VP/GM Communications at Greenlee - Textron where he is responsible for the communications test products serving the telecom and CATV providers along with datacom installation crews. Prior to this role, he served as the VP/GM Networks and Test at IDEAL Industries, Inc.. Additionally, he served in multiple executive roles including GM of Lachat Instruments and Radiometer Analytical - a $33M business portfolio held by Hach (a Danaher Company; Fortune 500; NYSE: DHR). He also led the operational turn-around of a international metal injection molding company while serving as VP Operations at PCC-Advanced Forming Technologies (a Precision Castparts Company; Fortune 500; NYSE: PCP). In addition, as President, he led the integration and turnaround of the YDI Group acquired by AMS/Westco Scientific Instruments in December 2007. Mr. Butchko earned an Executive MBA from the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado.
