A Layout Field Engineer is responsible for implementing and verifying the accuracy of project layouts in the field, ensuring that construction follows the blueprints and specifications. Utilizing surveying equipment and techniques to establish control points, baselines, and other reference lines for construction, and verify that the building, infrastructure, or other structures are built according to plan. Duties and Responsibilities * Project Startup: * Create a new project in the data collector. * Import the data files created by the FE manager. * Double-check site control to ensure everything is within tolerance to continue. * Coordinate with the project team on when and how the work will commence. * Ensure the needed layout materials are provided. * Start layout. * Project Maintenance: * Continue daily layout needs for the project.
