Pros of working at Lee Enterprises
I didn't like anything about working at Lee. They came in, stripped my entire department down from 6 employees to 2 and then tried to make me and the only other employee pick up the slack. Horrible management. They don't care about their employees or product. They only care about purchasing local newspapers and squeezing as much profit out of them as possible.
Cons of working at Lee Enterprises
There's nothing about Lee that is good. Horrible management, horrible benefits, profit at the expense of it's employees.
Lee Enterprises benefits
I don't have one. Their benefits are almost non-existent.

Pros of working at Lee Enterprises
I liked the people, well MOST of the people. There were quite a few bad eggs.
Cons of working at Lee Enterprises
Year after year the company skimped on costs. There were many "early retirements", unfilled positions after people would resign. I did not like my manager at the time, he was a poor manager, avoided conflict.
Lee Enterprises benefits
They used to give away tickets to local events, that was cool. UNTIL they stipulated that only subscribers to the paper could enter the contest. That was LAME and SUCKED ASS. There were no other benefits. The health care premiums were high with high deductibles, nothing special or competitive there.
