Perform metallographic evaluations including grain size analysis (ASTM E112), tensile testing (ASTM E8), and eddy current testing (ASTM E243). Conduct mechanical testing (hardness testing using Rockwell, Vickers, and Brinell methods) and document results. Operate and maintain optical microscopes, hardness testers, and other lab equipment. Record test results accurately in lab reports, databases, and quality records. Assist with failure analysis and material investigations under the supervision of engineers.
