Job Summary: The Director of Finance is responsible for structuring tax equity, debt and other project financings for large-scale wind, solar and battery energy storage projects, both repowering and greenfield. The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Finance. Responsibilities: * Responsible for managing modelling of financing transactions and partnerships * Collaborate on optimal financing structure for individual projects and portfolios of projects * Manages and coordinates due diligence efforts for potential investors * Negotiates documentation for financing transactions * Coordinates with other internal groups (legal, tax, accounting, ESG, development and construction) as relevant for a financing transaction * Maintains and expands relationships with lenders and investors * Manages handoff process between project finance, operations and asset management and optimizes transaction efficiency * Supports asset management in preparing ongoing analysis and reporting for lenders, investors and management * Supports project development and acquisition efforts by partnering with other company business units (origination, development, operations, legal) to internalize financing conditions and requirements into company processes * Training of staff as needed Qualifications: * Minimum 7 years of experience in project financing for renewables * Strong understanding of tax as it relates to tax equity financing * Experience in leading the origination and execution of renewables financings * Knowledge and experience in US renewables market * Team player who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere * Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, engineering, or other technical discipline; MBA/MS a plus Physical Demands: * Position will require sitting for long periods of time as well as occasionally lifting up to twenty-pound boxes. Job Profile: The role of this position is to offer Electrical Engineering support for the Leeward portfolio of operating plants' operations projects. The main responsibility is to develop solutions that enhance the overall safety and reliability of wind, solar and BESS plants. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager - Electrical. The primary objectives are to lead, design, schedule, and address critical issues related to the LRE's operating fleet, while ensuring that the company guidelines for improving operations reliability are met. Managing complex and time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment is an essential requirement for this position. Additionally, effective communication with both the engineering and operations teams is crucial for successful completion of the assigned projects. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain NERC deliverables for standards like MOD and FAC. * Perform steady-state power flow and short-circuit analyses * Monitor compliance with NERC reliability standards and address potential violations. * Validate power system models for transmission and generation assets. * Prepare technical reports and evidence packages for NERC audits. * Investigate system disturbances, perform root cause analyses, and develop mitigation plans. * Coordinate with operations, planning, and regional entities for compliance and data sharing. * Evaluate facility ratings to ensure compliance with FAC-008. * Demonstrate willingness to learn dynamic and transient stability simulations for future studies. Qualifications: * 4-6 years of experience in power system engineering, preferably in a NERC-regulated environment. * Proficiency in steady-state power system analysis using tools. * Strong knowledge of NERC reliability standards (e.g., MOD-025/026/027, FAC-008). * Willingness to learn dynamic and transient stability simulations post-hire. * Strong analytical skills for power flow and short-circuit analyses. * Excellent communication and documentation skills for audit preparation. * Ability to collaborate with internal teams and regional entities. * Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required. * Experience performing NERC PRC studies and good understanding of NERC PRC studies * 4-Year Bachelors Electrical Engineering Degree. * Master Engineering degree is a plus.
