    The Call Center Representative is responsible for providing timely and professional customer service to incoming phone calls specifically for appointment scheduling. The Call Center Rep will answer incoming calls for lab results, refill requests and schedule patient appointments, manage the provider's schedules in all medical departments according to set protocol of each department and direct all incoming calls of the call system in a manner that will enhance corporate image and increase customer satisfaction. In occasion to serve as back up for Front Desk staff shortage by performing any front office duties under the direction of the Site Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED. * Bilingual- English/Spanish is required. * Able to work a flexible schedule. * Previous experience in a Medical Setting preferred. * Ability to manage multiple phone lines and incoming calls in timely manner. * Ability to read and interpret documents, such as policies, procedure manuals, and reports. * Data entry proficient. * Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems Preferred * Minimum of 2 years Healthcare Call Center experience or 2 years of Customer Service Call Center experience. * Professional and Positive attitude and able to communicate with all levels of management and more importantly with our patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for answering incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, address questions and route calls accordingly. * Takes all incoming calls, facilitates patient needs, and documents all communication into the chart. * Always ensure patient confidentiality. * Schedule all appointments for all departments and clinics based on approved protocol for each department's registration area into the Practice Management System. * Responsible in assisting and maintaining the patients' demographic information and insert new/updated clinical and administrative documentation in charts. * Ensures that all patients inquiries are advised on the sliding fee scale and makes adjustments accordingly. * Gathers third party payment information, records charges, and bills patients for services provided as indicated on the encounter form. * Processes the charge entry into the Electronic Medical Records system. * Schedule all incoming phone appointments using specific protocols for each department/ provider with a high degree of accuracy. * Verify via the telephone all patient information including demographic, insurance and payment balance according to policy and instruct patients accordingly in preparation of their appointment such as the need to come in early if they need to be put on the sliding fee scale, what payment method are accepted and reminders of co-payment need to be paid at the time of service for privately insured patients. * Receives requests from pharmacy or other providers and contacts patients with messages, to include scheduling of appointments, lab orders, or other needs, and complete documentation. * Assists with lab callbacks or other clerical/phone tasks. * Addresses incoming calls for lab results and schedules follow up appointments according to directions of provider. * Alerts Site Supervisor of any pending patient requests for refills, lab results, or any other requests that have not been addressed by clinical staff or providers in a timely manner outlined by the "Telephone Triage Guide". * Provides excellent internal/external customer service. * Performs other duties as assigned. * All Health Center staff members have emergency and disaster response responsibilities. Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma, GED or vocational/technical training equivalent required * A minimum of one (1) year of experience in construction or building maintenance required * Valid Texas Driver's License and personal automobile insurance * Ability to successfully operate a variety of applicable hand-held tools and devices and to learn the use of others as required by assigned tasks * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assists in the completion of a wide range of building repairs and maintenance functions in response to work orders submitted by SBCHC staff members. Completes all assigned work in a timely manner. * Assists in the performance of routine preventative maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate; inspects, diagnoses, and repairs issues in a timely and effective manner. * Assists with repairs to walls, roofs, woodwork, floors, cabinets, interior and exterior doors, and other fixtures. * Assists in repair or replacement of wiring and parts for electrical switches, outlets, light fixtures, breaker switches, and fuses. * Assists in repair or replacement of plumbing fixtures and fittings, including but not limited to: drains, faucets, sewer lines, toilets, sinks, and water heaters. * Assists with installation and maintenance of HVAC equipment. * Assists in repair, adjustment, or installation of various appliances and equipment, including but not limited to: water heaters, refrigerators, air conditioners, and furnaces. * Assists in repair and replacement of grout, bathroom tile, and seals to maintain water-tight enclosure. * Uses rollers, brushes, and related equipment to apply the required number of coats of paint, enamel, varnish, lacquer, or other protective or decorative material on a variety of surfaces. * Assists in building inspections; paints and repairs as needed. * Assists with renovations, build outs, and expansions in a timely manner. * Completes appropriate work order documentation for all maintenance tasks and maintains files of completed work orders. * Performs periodic lawn service and other outdoor landscaping grounds service as needed. * Performs work order service during evenings and weekends on a scheduled or rotating basis; maintains the ability to complete work orders in accordance with established procedures. * Instructs new employees and helpers in the method of maintenance and repair. * Maintains knowledge of SBCHC facilities and equipment and basic principles of building maintenance. * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors, consultants, contractors, residents, HUD, community partners, and local, state and federal officials. * Performs other related duties as assigned.

Apply and remove bandages and dressing to superficial incisions or lacerations; apply orthopedic appliances such as knee immobilizers, envelope slings, and similar devices. Remove sutures or staples from superficial incisions or lacerations. 6. Prepare patients for and assist the licensed healthcare professional in examinations or procedures including positioning, draping, shaving and disinfecting treatment sites. 7. Monitors pending referrals, notifies patients of lab results and diagnostic results based on providers written orders, obtains consult notes, and documents attempts within eClinicalWorks. 8. Maintains cleanliness and supplies in each patient room, completes room checklists, and notifies appropriate personnel of clinical supply shortages. Disinfects all medical equipment and exam room tables and surfaces after each patient encounter. 9. Completes sterilization by autoclave, autoclave maintenance, including spore testing weekly. (requires additional training) 10. Completes daily huddles with care teams, including providers. 11. Administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation in an emergency. 12. Prepare charts by completing pre visit planning including ensuring lab result retrieval, medical record retrieval, vaccination history, etc. 13.
