Position Overview
As an Account Operations Specialist, you will be supporting the company's clinical product clono SEQ. In this customer support role, you will partner with Adaptive Biotechnologies Account Operations Leads, Clinical Services and Field Based Teams to ensure our clinicians and their patients have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Support two sales regions to ensure timely access to clono SEQ ordering for providers and care teams
Manage provider onboarding process for expedited ordering and customers who have clono SEQ integrated in their EMR
Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and drive satisfaction through superior service and execution.
Collaborate with Account Operations Leads to manage internal process for addressing institution-specific onboarding requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of information related to new prospects.
Serve as customer liaison for priority internal initiatives requiring customer engagement.
Educate customers on new support offerings to maximize brand performance.
Manage clono SEQ collection kit inventory in your two regions
Collaborate with the Clinical Services team to ensure efficient and effective communication with clinicians and their care team.

Job Summary:
The Hospitality & Engagement Specialist role is part of the Behavioral Health team which supports ETS' mission by providing supporting services to patients. This role makes a critical difference at ETS by assuring patients are provided a safe and therapeutic environment where they can access needed resources.
This position will foster relationships and community building by providing patient-centered services from a harm reduction perspective utilizing motivational interviewing, therapeutic verbal de-escalation, and trauma- informed care approaches. The central purpose of the Hospitality & Engagement Specialist is to help create a welcoming environment where patients feel a sense of respect and belonging and, in turn, access resources needed to improve their quality of life.
What you contribute to this role - Responsibilities:
Help ETS succeed in carrying out our mission through working together with other staff to transform systems of harm and inequity to create different approaches to improving community health and safety through addressing substance use and homelessness.
Assist with the organization-wide initiative to reimagine our interconnectedness within our community to overcome the aspects of our society and organizational culture shaped by white supremacy and settler colonialism.
Helps create a safe and therapeutic environment by letting patients in the door and welcoming them to the ETS space
Develops rapport and trusting relationships with patients through respectful, person-centered engagement practices.
Orients new patients to the space(s) and facilitates patient flow in and out of the space while maintaining a hospitable and friendly demeanor.
Meets with Patients within their first 2-days to review the ETS Clinic Services Safety Agreement and complete a Crisis Intervention Plan.
Monitors patients' activities inside the clinic and to the extent of ETS property with the intent to address any potential safety risks or violations of program rules and regulations.
Produces and distributes a daily email, prior to the beginning of dosing, that provides the clinic with needed information about the day's safety team rolls.
Submits incident reports or other relevant documentation when appropriate.
Monitors and reports hazardous materials and conditions.
Works in collaboration with Counselors and Case Managers to support individual service plans for patients with challenging behaviors.
Demonstrates highest level of integrity and maintain exceptional levels of confidentiality related to 42 CFR part II and HIPAA.
Responsible for clinic opening and closing procedures.
Conduct Bathroom Checks.
Assists with receiving and stocking supply shipments for the clinic.
Assists police, fire, EMS, and all other emergency service providers in the performance of their duties while responding to or on ETS property.
Responds to all facility alarm activations including but not limited to security, duress, fire and intrusion alarms.
Helps implement systems to support patients in the milieu space with behavioral issues.
Helps support large patient events and activities.
As needed, operate oversized RV-style vehicle(s).
Attends ETS team meetings and other required meetings.
Always follow all ETS policies and procedures.

Undergraduate degree highly desirable
Academic training in the social service or SUDP/SUDPT field highly desirable
Experience
A minimum of two years of experience in work related to social work or outreach programs required
Experience providing services to addicted individuals from a harm reduction perspective preferred
Experience with case management, homelessness and co-occurring disorders highly desirable
Knowledge and Skills

Physical Requirements:
The employee may be exposed to illicit drug residues and fumes or other bio-hazardous materials when carrying out job functions. There is also potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens. ETS will provide employees with appropriate training to limit the risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Policies and procedures are in place addressing each item specifically.
The employee is regularly required to be on their feet: standing, walking, and kneeling; occasionally to climb balance, stoop or crouch and crawl. They will regularly be in communicating with program participants while coordinating the clinic milieu. In addition, the position frequently requires the employee to work outside in inclement weather. Additionally, the employees is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Hobson Clinic is an integrated behavioral and physical health outpatient clinic jointly operated by DESC and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). The Clinic provides holistic health care services to thousands of community members annually with a focus on improving health care access for people who have experienced barriers to conventional health services. The Clinic specializes in serving people living on lower incomes, people living homeless, and people living with complex physical and mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
The Downtown Behavioral Health Center is operated by DESC and support a variety of clinical staff and programs ranging from outpatient behavioral health, substance disorder treatment, supportive employment, medical, and drop-in services. The clinical programs located in Pioneer Square serve a myriad of clients daily to address complex needs related to their mental and physical health.
The CES team monitors the safety and security of the clinics by managing the milieu of the main lobby/building and engaging clients. The CES team will also be tasked with providing trauma-informed support to clients and patients utilizing Hobson clinic and Pioneer Square by employing various de-escalation skills and tactics, both verbal and hands-on approaches, while in coordination and consultation with the wider clinical and medical teams.
The CES team supports DESC's Good neighbor policy in public spaces adjacent to clinics and ensures the community milieu around DESC buildings are welcoming and approachable.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Ability to meet Washington Department of Health requirements for registration as a Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) or any other superseding credential
+ Relevant Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related behavioral science, OR a combination of 1 year of relevant paid work experience and demonstration of the ability to perform required job duties.
+ Ability to drive an agency or personal vehicle to conduct agency related business. A current Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record are required.
+ Interest in working with clients who are difficult to engage and maintain in traditional mental health/substance use disorder programs.
+ Experience working with behavioral health conditions and intervening with de-escalation and hands-on approaches using Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) or the equivalent and must be familiar with behavioral health treatment services.
+ Willingness to become certified in enhanced behavioral de-escalation training, which trains to use hands on techniques.

Hobson Clinic is an integrated behavioral and physical health outpatient clinic jointly operated by DESC and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). The Clinic provides holistic health care services to thousands of community members annually with a focus on improving health care access for people who have experienced barriers to conventional health services. The Clinic specializes in serving people living on lower incomes, people living homeless, and people living with complex physical and mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
The Downtown Behavioral Health Center is operated by DESC and support a variety of clinical staff and programs ranging from outpatient behavioral health, substance disorder treatment, supportive employment, medical, and drop-in services. The clinical programs located in Pioneer Square serve a myriad of clients daily to address complex needs related to their mental and physical health.
The CES team monitors the safety and security of the clinics by managing the milieu of the main lobby/building and engaging clients. The CES team will also be tasked with providing trauma-informed support to clients and patients utilizing Hobson clinic and Pioneer Square by employing various de-escalation skills and tactics, both verbal and hands-on approaches, while in coordination and consultation with the wider clinical and medical teams.

JOB DEFINITION:
We are looking for a Client Engagement Specialist (CES) who will work within the larger Client Engagement Team spanning two locations: Hobson Clinic and the Downtown Behavioral Health Center.
Hobson Clinic is an integrated behavioral and physical health outpatient clinic jointly operated by DESC and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). The Clinic provides holistic health care services to thousands of community members annually with a focus on improving health care access for people who have experienced barriers to conventional health services. The Clinic specializes in serving people living on lower incomes, people living homeless, and people living with complex physical and mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
The Downtown Behavioral Health Center is operated by DESC and supports a variety of clinical staff and programs ranging from outpatient behavioral health, substance disorder treatment, medical, and drop-in services. The clinical programs located at DBHC serve a myriad of clients daily to address complex needs related to their mental and physical health.
The CES team will be the point people to monitor the safety and security of the clinics by managing the milieu of the main lobby/building and engaging clients. The CES team will also be tasked with providing trauma-informed support to clients and patients utilizing Hobson clinic and DBHC by employing various de-escalation skills and tactics, both verbal and hands-on approaches, while in coordination and consultation with the wider clinical and medical teams.
The CES team supports DESC's Good neighbor policy in public spaces adjacent to clinics and ensures the community milieu around DESC buildings are welcoming and approachable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be present in all main operating areas of both Hobson and DBHC for client engagement and de-escalation purposes only. Be a welcoming presence and direct clients to the services they are seeking, at times escorting to designated area, and walking regular rounds in both low and high-risk areas of the clinic, including area immediately outside of the clinic.
Initiate and maintain appropriate social interactions with clients. Integrate experience with behavioral health and substance use conditions into work with clients.
Monitor the general milieu, lobby, entryway, immediately outside of the clinic, security systems, and other common areas to monitor the safety and security of clients and staff. Work to maintain a comfortable milieu, even in the presence of potentially unusual client behaviors.
Be present in outside spaces near to the clinic for community visibility and client engagement. Be a welcoming presence, orient community members and clients to DESC services, walk regular rounds in the neighborhood, escort clients and prospective clients to nearby DESC buildings, and participate in clean-up activities.
Commitment to the Harm Reduction and Trauma Informed Care models and working to incorporate those principles through an equity and social justice lens.
Become certified in enhanced behavioral de-escalation training and maintain annual re-certification.

Assist in training clinic staff on de-escalation skills and leading crisis response drills.
Intervene when necessary to support clients, maintain order, and communicate/enforce clinic rules and policies.

In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, promote a safe and secure clinic environment by responding to emergent safety issues using a layered active response approach.
Participate in clinical reviews and case conferences to develop personal success plans for clients as needed. Assist clinical staff in engaging clients through creative, resourceful strategies that build trust and confidence.
Lead critical debriefs and work in coordination with clinical Director and Managers to provide support to staff related to safety issues upon request.
Attending consumer advisory board (CAB) meetings with the purpose of eliciting consumer input regarding Clinic program performance and to assure the consumer perspective is well-understood and reported back to the team.
Help ensure cleanliness of lobby area and other common spaces within the building.
Participate in staff meetings, team huddles, and training, with both DESC and HMC staff.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a climate-controlled office environment with frequent interpersonal interactions. Works outside in all weather. Works as needed driving to client homes and interacting with clients in their homes. May escort clients or have professional meetings in environments which are not climate controlled. Also works outside of the office in homeless camps and in a vehicle.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to meet Washington Department of Health requirements for registration as a Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) or any other superseding credential
Relevant Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related behavioral science, OR a combination of 1 year of relevant paid work experience and demonstration of the ability to perform required job duties.
Ability to drive an agency or personal vehicle to conduct agency related business. A current Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record are required.
Interest in working with clients who are difficult to engage and maintain in traditional mental health/substance use disorder programs.
Experience working with behavioral health conditions and intervening with de-escalation and hands-on approaches using Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) or the equivalent and must be familiar with behavioral health treatment services.

General Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director, Sterile Processing and the area Manager, Sterile Processing, performs specialized duties to ensure the effective running of a Sterile Processing Department. These duties may include staff educator, department quality assurance coordinator, or service coordinator. For each given role, the Sterile Processing Coordinator shall be certified in sterile processing and have expert knowledge of the functions, processes and equipment involved in sterile processing. Is proficient in the technical and quality performance metrics. Performs QA audits, educates staff, and/or serves as a departmental liaison to other hospital departments such as ambulatory services. endoscopy, perioperative services, invasive cardiology, and other similar services.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED
Minimum three (3) years instrument processing experience required with a college degree (associates or higher) or eight (8) - ten (10) years sterile processing experience. Must have demonstrated competence in instrument set assembly and sterilization across multiple specialties. For existing employees, the coordinator must complete certification and pass all relevant competencies within one year.
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) OR Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
Salary Range: Minimum 27.97/hour - Maximum 46.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

JOB DEFINITION:
DESC's STAR (Stability Through Access and Resources) Center is a time-limited, 24/7, behavioral health-focused non-congregate shelter program. Services at the Center are tailored for unsheltered adults facing significant untreated and under-treated challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders. The center is located at 619 3rd Avenue and Cherry St in Seattle.
The Peer Supervisor for SUD Services and Peer Specialists is a vital member of the STAR Center Shelter's multi-disciplinary leadership team. This position is responsible for the overall coordination, supervision, and quality assurance of Peer Specialists and those providing targeted Substance Use Disorder (SUD) outreach and recovery support services. The Supervisor utilizes their lived experience to lead the team in providing assertive engagement and intensive services to clients, while also managing a partial direct service caseload within the non-congregate shelter environment. This role is essential for the planning, implementation, and coordination of Peer Specialistservices within the shelter.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assign and manage Peer caseloads. Coordinate, schedule, and oversee the work of SUD Peer Specialists and Peer Specialists providing outreach and assertive engagement to STAR Center clients.
Provide regular supervision, consultation, and performance feedback to staff. Assess team members for strengths and training needs, and ensure staff receive necessary training, including core DESC values, crisis intervention/de-escalation skills, the causes and effects of homelessness, and continuing education.
Facilitate team meetings to promote team cohesion and collaboration, ensuring the team effectively serves the clientele and provides needed support.
Develop, manage, and maintain systems to ensure clients' peer goals and use of peer services are documented in service plans.
Coordinate and participate in quality assurance activities. Review team documentation to assure records are current, complete, and comply with all agency, county, and contractual policies and procedures. Complete documentation and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate Peer Specialist hiring, orientation, and scheduling; assist in the hiring and orientation of other STAR Center Shelter staff. Review and authorize staff time sheets.
Work in partnership with the STAR Center Leadership team to implement DESC vision and values, and to incorporate a thorough equity framework into shelter operations and client care. Establish cooperative relationships with external partners to secure necessary client resources and promote positive relationships with the surrounding neighborhood.
Provide outreach and Peer Specialistservices to a partial caseload. Identify and screen individuals for appropriateness to services, build rapport, and assist with immediate and basic needs for those suspected of Opioid Use Disorder and facing significant untreated behavioral health challenges.
Provide recovery and engagement support to STAR clients. Link individuals to needed Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services and/or opioid use disorder treatment, assisting in navigating systems and addressing barriers to independence and recovery. Become familiar with local housing resources. Link individuals to needed Behavioral Health services.
Utilize lived experience to help participants identify, understand, and combat stigma and discrimination associated with homelessness, mental illness, and substance use disorders, and develop strategies to reduce self-stigma.
Advocate for clients' access to housing and community resources, and assist consumers with voicing their interests and goals through Goal Plans, Crisis Plans, WRAP, and other methods.
Work shifts as assigned covering the milieu to maintain order, communication, and enforce agency rules.
Serve as a core member of the STAR Center leadership team, assisting the Project Manager in the planning, implementation, and coordination of Peer Specialistservices and overall STAR Center Shelter services.
Provide leadership at the STAR Center in the absence of other leadership team members.
Provide staff training to ensure awareness and understanding of the Peer Specialist role in integrated care.
Provide and train staff in strong harm reduction-oriented service interventions.
Participate in verbal de-escalation in emergent situations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Support clients with achieving and maintaining healthy living conditions within the shelter rooms. This includes outreach, supporting clients with tools and skills to maintain their rooms, coordinating with other shelter staff, and participating in room cleanouts as needed.
Provide transportation for clients as necessary.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) credential through the Washington State Department of Health or ability to gain certification within 60 days of hire.
Completion of “Crisis Awareness and Communication in Peer Support (CACPS)” training or ability to complete within 60 days of employment.
Ability to gain certification as an approved peer support specialist supervisor through the Washington State Department of Health:
Obtain 1,000 hours of experience as a peer support specialist,
Obtain 500 hours of joint peer supervision experience with an approved supervisor,
Complete the Washington State Health Care Authority Peer Supervisor Training.
One or more years' experience in community based behavioral health services.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience working with adults experiencing homelessness, mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
Lived experience as a consumer of behavioral health services (mental health and/or substance use treatment) or be the parent or legal guardian of a child who has received behavioral health services.
Interest in working with clients who are difficult to engage and maintain in traditional mental health/substance use disorder programs.
Demonstrated crisis management ability.
Demonstrated leadership qualities.
Be willing to seek to understand each client's unique circumstances and personal preferences and goals and incorporate them into the crisis response to help the client regain a sense of control.
