Position Objective:
The Office Manager is an operational and clinical role and is responsible for providing 5 Star Service in assisting physicians in the management of healthcare daily office operations and treatment of geriatric patients following established standards and practices. The incumbent will report to the Regional Manager (or similar role) and will manage a care team of medical assistants and/or receptionists (generally 3-7 members).
Responsibilities:
Oversee, monitor, and improve clinic performance and other key performance indicators, including HEDIS, admission management, ER utilization, patients not seen, etc.
Manage a team of clinic staff, including coordinating payroll, PTO, hour management, and performance of team members
Communicate with providers to ensure patient quality of care
Assists with scheduling, administrative, and clinical duties for providers (mid-levels and physicians)

Position Objective:
The Medical Assistant is a clinical role and is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Measure and record vital signs and record them in the EMR.
Accurately and professionally handle all front-desk operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and triaging calls.
Maintain patient medical records in accordance with the center's policy.
Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or providers' instructions to patients.
Prepare both the patient and room for examination.

Monitor disposable inventory and place orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as requested.
Draw blood and process specimens for send-out.

Position Objective:

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs a variety of both direct and indirect patient care duties under the direction and supervision of a VIPcare provider
Greets patients and prepares them for provider examination by obtaining patient history, chief complaint, current medications, medical history, allergies, surgical history, family history, social history and other preventative medicine reviews and records information in the patient electronic medical record.
Measures and records vital signs and records them in the EMR
Triage incoming phone calls and/or patients in office.
Explains treatment procedures and prepares both the patient and exam room for examination
Provides both patient and provider support during procedures by handing instruments or equipment to the physician as directed.
Cleans and/or sterilizes reusable instruments and equipment after use
Performs clinical duties including administration of oral and injectable medications, irrigation of eyes and ears, dresses and bandages wounds and incisions, starts and monitor IV infusion, and assist physician with any/all procedures as requested.
Performs in office diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiograph, administration of oxygen as ordered, pulse oximetry, peak flow and inhalation treatments.
Performs in office CLIA-waived lab tests
Carries out quality controls related to lab equipment and testing, completes and maintains lab related logs, performs PT/INR utilizing CoaguChek/Coag Sense machine and performs glucose testing utilizing glucometer
Completes electronic medical record to include medical services rendered, test results and supplies used.
Monitors disposable inventory and places orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as requested
Draws blood and processes specimens for send-out
Provide patient education as directed by the provider.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Medical Assistant experience, Accredited Medical Asst. program preferred (RMA or CMA)
CPR Certified

Overview:
The APRN is a clinical role that will provide exceptional medical care to patients by conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing patient treatment plans under the supervision of a physician. Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, promote health, and provide care coordination and documentation for patients with acute and complex chronic health needs using evidence-based medicine and practice guidelines

Maintain complete and detailed records, electronically in the EMR, of patients' health care plans and prognosis, completed within 48 hours of each patient's visit
