The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for managing the Internal Audit Department's resources in an effective and efficient manner for the professional and timely completion of assigned audit engagements set forth by IDEA Public Schools' annual audit plan. The Internal Audit Manager will report to the Managing Director of Internal Audit for assignment and planning of internal audits and other duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises Internal Auditors in coordination with the Managing Director of Internal Audit.
Location:
This is a full-time remote position based in Texas, with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.
Travel Expectations:
Travel within the Region throughout the year as necessary.
Travel to IDEA training events or step-back may be required.
This role works remotely when not traveling and visiting campuses.
What You'll Do - Accountabilities
Essential Duties:
Supports the Managing Director of Internal Audit with the timely completion of the Annual Risk Assessment by July 30th, including the review of the audit universe, the evaluation of controls, the interview process, and the risk assessment of auditable areas.
Manages and coordinates the timely completion of all audit engagements on the annual internal audit plan, including the assignment and supervision of internal auditors through the planning, fieldwork and reporting phase of internal audits.
Leads the coordination of requests as assigned by the Managing Director of Internal Audit regarding the external audit engagement and related interim work.
Supports and assists the Internal Audit Investigator with the management of IDEA Public Schools Whistleblower Reporting Hotline and investigations in order to achieve closure of 100% of reports.
Manages the execution of consulting engagements as assigned by the Managing Director of Internal Audit in support of all departments and functions of IDEA Public Schools.
Leads the internal quality control strategy as required by professional standards for internal audits and supports the Managing Director of Internal Audit with the execution of the quality control program.
Oversees the timely completion of all required monthly reports for presentation to the Audit Committee of the Board.

Support the Managing Director of Internal Audit with the coordination of staff and the administration of department resources.
Manage and continuously update the internal audit department's calendar.
Maintain a standard operating procedures manual that incorporates all procedures and functions regarding the completion of internal audit engagements
Maintain the highest levels of independence and remain free from interference to permit maintenance of a necessary independent and objective mental attitude.
Ensure compliance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards).

Department Summary
The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to create transformational experiences for all UNT Health students by providing tailored support and fostering holistic development. There are 8 functional units within the Division of Student Affairs: Center for Student Life, Career Readiness Center, Center for Academic Performance, Office of Care and Civility, Testing and Evaluation Services, International Services, Office for Disability Access, and Student Assistance Resource Center.
Position Overview
The Writing Coordinator in the Center for Academic Performance is a hybrid position, working both on campus and remotely to aid in the support of students by providing academic writing and presentation support. This position will meet individually with students, both in person and via online meeting platforms, to assess and provide feedback regarding writing skills. They will work closely with other departments and academic programs to integrate writing skills with curriculum. They will provide students with presentations and workshops focused on the enhancement of writing skills. When on campus, the Writing Coordinator does work out of a shared office space, with access to space to meet privately with students.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a non-tenure track 12-month faculty position and Director of Clinical Education who will have reduced course load to help with students' clinical education. Primary duties will include teaching courses; obtaining and maintaining clinical contracts/placements for students; serving as a liaison with clinical partners; evaluating students' performance and progress in courses and in clinical placements; guiding curriculum design to ensure students' clinical experiences are consistent with curricular goals; and assisting the DPT Director. Regular attendance on-campus is not required, but the candidate is expected to attend the Fall Faculty and Administrative Staff Assembly and one commencement ceremony per academic year. The candidate is also expected to teach periodic immersive student lab sessions on-campus as specified by the program. This non-tenure track faculty position supports a hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy program. The curriculum combines online instruction with on-campus learning activities, allowing faculty the flexibility to live in Laredo, TX or elsewhere. However, faculty in the DPT program are required to travel to Laredo and be on campus for designated periods each semester for immersive labs. Salary will be adjusted to assist with travel to and from campus. On-campus commitments typically range from five to six visits per academic year, with the duration of each stay determined by program needs.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is actively developing a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The program is expected to submit its application for candidacy to the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) in Fall 2027.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a doctorate degree. If the doctorate is not in Physical Therapy, they must hold a master's or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. ABDs will also be considered but must have earned a doctorate before appointment. The candidate must have an active unrestricted PT license; minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical practice following licensure; minimum of 2 years clinical experience as Director of Clinical Education (DCE) OR Clinical Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) OR Clinical Instructor (CI) for DPT students or a minimum of two years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and administration in a physical therapy education program. Collaborate with non-profit community organizations, agencies, key stakeholders, civic groups, local governments, and other Extension staff in the region to provide a broad array of integrated and multicounty programs. Collaborate with County Extension staff to present a unified and coordinated County Extension program effort.
Program Marketing: Assist in the marketing and promotion of the Community and Economic Development Systems Unit by participating in internet radio blogs on various small business and community topics, mass media interviews (when appropriate) and participating in Extension publications on community and economic development topics.
Participates and assists in college-wide events, activities, committees, and performs other duties as deemed necessary.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
No prior experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
Technical competence in appropriate subject matter and the ability to apply this knowledge to the solution of problems.
Understanding of the learning and development processes of youth and adults.
Knowledge of a variety of teaching methods to provide effective learning experiences.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Other Requirements:
This position is fully remote. The selected candidate must reside within a 25 mile radius of the assigned county.

Summary: Ensure that students and graduates are prepared with the job search skills necessary to attain employment and that the graduates are employed in their field of study as outlined in their respective program objectives. Works in cooperation with the education department and administrative staff to provide placement services to graduates and to analyze and provide feedback on graduate and employer satisfaction based on survey results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Influences and empowers students and graduates to find employment in their field of study and begin their healthcare careers.
Manages a population of graduates and assist them in job placement in the Allied Healthcare field.
Works with students and graduates to give them guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, resume best practices and more.
Develops and implements plans to achieve student and graduate employment goals.
Consistently meets or exceeds department metrics and quotas including talk time, interviews, hires and monthly goal of placed graduates.
Assist the Directors with advertising, recruiting extern and placement sites, marketing to the medical community, monitor of student's progress during externship.
The Career Advisor will be a positive representative of CHCP in the community.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and student orientation
Ensure compliance with all state, federal and accrediting rules and regulations
Build a positive relationship with students throughout the educational process to promote the services and availability of the career services department.
Education/Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience
Willingness to work in a high-powered, dynamic, energetic and results-drive environment
Experience in employment staffing, career services, out-placement services or sales experience.
