Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and gather case-related information.
Coordinate and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in the case.
Manage attorney calendars, scheduling depositions, hearings, and meetings.
File legal documents with the court and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and other materials.
Paralegals are expected to have 120 billable hours per month
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation.
Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work product.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
