Summary:
Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant to work with our Private Client and Business Litigation practice group in our Indianapolis - 96th Street office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing a full range of legal administrative support to the assignments in a timely and efficient manner. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.
Job Description:
What you would do:
* Assistin the compilation of necessary data and information from clients relating to real property, personal property, and information necessary to prepare trust & estate planning documents
* Prepare initial drafts and make edits as directed to any necessary probate documents
* Assistin obtaining necessary Letters Testamentary or other documents to allow timekeepers to administer estates
* Keep track of critical court and statutory imposed deadlines relating to estate administration and probate
* Assistin the preparation and editing of any necessary documents
* Create, maintain, and properly close client and matter files
* Manage the conflict check process, prepare engagement agreements, and establish necessary financial information to allow for time entry and invoicing
* Enter time on behalf of assignments, process vendor invoices, submit expense reimbursements and coordinate the client billing process
* Assist with state and federal e-filing
* Maintain client files and contact information
* Enter time on behalf of assigned timekeepers, process payment requests, and coordinate the client billing process
* Schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, court hearings and travel arrangements
* Other administrative tasks, as assigned

What is required:
* 5+ years of legal administrative experience preferred, with a background in time entry, billing, invoicing, and calendar management
* Experience at Am Law 50/100 firms strongly preferred
* Minimum of high school graduation or GED; paralegal certificate or business degree preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Those with background in accounting, finance, or probate are strongly encouraged to apply

Pedcor is looking for a motivated and hard-working assistant who enjoys a team atmosphere to join our legal team.
The LegalAssistant will be responsible for (i) ongoing reporting with various authorities and (ii) general administrative tasks supporting the Attorneys and Paralegals in the Legal Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare Bond Compliance reports on a monthly basis, coordinate execution by required parties and submit to the applicable authorities.
File Annual Reports for each entity with the applicable office of the secretary of state.
Research contractor and business licensing requirements in new states. Monitor licenses and process renewals. Coordinate with licensed contractors when testing is required for renewal.
Submit wire payment requests and check requests as requested by Paralegals and Attorneys.
Submit reimbursement requests and credit card statements for Paralegals and Attorneys.
Assist with administrative tasks such as copying, filing, shipping, etc. as needed.
Education and Experience:
