Duties:
Paralegal Responsibilities:

File documents in federal and state courts, including e-filing and complex litigation filings
Prepare documents for service of process; prepare case "shell" documents for use by attorneys as well as generate tables of contents and authorities
Monitor litigation deadlines and assist in the execution of those deadlines
Coordinate and schedule depositions; prepare and issue subpoenas
Schedule and notice independent medical exams (IMEs)

Job Overview
Pop Mart is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Licensing & Risk Management Specialist to support regulatory preparedness and risk coordination across its North American operations, including both the United States and Canada. Document Management & Compliance Support
Maintain organized records of all licensing, permitting, registration, and insurance documents.

What You Will Need

We remove barriers to housing that require legal intervention, including but not limited to eviction prevention, landlord/tenant dispute resolution, government benefits, and clearing quality-of-life tickets.
What do student interns do in PEHP?
We train students that intern with PEHP to conduct client interviews, identify legal needs and social support services, and analyze legal issues pertaining to the barriers to housing stability stated above. Familiar with state and US Federal Court Case Management/Electronic Case File (CM/ECF)/PACER system, including submission of electronic filings
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision
Proficient in software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, or other similar software programs necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Provide assistance to others within firm when requested based on priorities of current work-in-hand, promoting teamwork and mutual cooperation among all staff members
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum two years litigation secretarial experience
Experience maintaining paperless files. iManage experience a plus
Knowledge of service deadlines for various litigation tasks, including familiarity of the California Code of Civil Procedure
Must successfully pass a background and drug screen
