MINIMUM PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ABILITIES TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: MATHEMATICAL ABILITY: * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages, and measure data. LANGUAGE ABILITY AND INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION: * Ability to comprehend a variety of documents including court orders, court calendars, legal documents, policy and procedure manuals, computer handbooks, legal dictionaries and reference materials. * Ability to prepare a variety of documents including follow-up letters, notification letters, legal documents, schedules, reports, etc., using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style. * Ability to use legal terminology. * Ability to record and deliver information, explain court procedures and * requirements and follow oral and written instructions. * Ability to communicate effectively with the general public, defendants, attorneys, judges, judicial staff, law enforcement personnel, supervisor, and co-workers. * Ability to comprehend importance of confidentiality of sensitive information and knowledge of persons authorized to have access to such records.
