Our internship opportunities offer bright, highly motivated law school students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the operations of state government while obtaining valuable on-the-job training. Law clerks will work on a broad range of assignments, including both transactional and litigation-related work. General duties include legal research and writing, discovery, and trial/hearing preparation. The ideal candidate would be a first, second- or third-year law student, possessing excellent research and writing skills, the ability to work efficiently and independently with a moderate amount of supervision, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is an ideal internship opportunity for those interested in public service after graduation or in fields related to administrative law, litigation or contracts.
