Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (day shift) Position Summary: The Office of the District Attorney for the 13th Judicial District is seeking a qualified and motivated Legal Assistant to support prosecutors in a fast-paced legal environment. : Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Assisting prosecutors with case management and court calendars * Drafting legal documents and correspondence * Maintaining electronic case files and docketing systems * Managing court dates and deadlines * Performing general office and administrative duties * Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's or associate degree preferred, but not required * Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal is required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Proficiency in personal computing and office software * Experience with case or document management systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships * Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * A desire to serve the public with professionalism and excellence Physical Demands and Work Environment: Office environment with routine physical demands associated with administrative and clerical work.
