The Global Technology, Outsourcing and Privacy Group seeks an experienced attorney in a part-time position to help grow an innovative team serving corporate in-house legal departments. The attorney will work directly with sophisticated clients on client-focused service teams and will manage his or her own matters under the supervision of a managing attorney. Responsibilities include analyzing, drafting, and negotiating master services agreements, marketing agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, supply agreements, license agreements, SaaS agreements, general terms and conditions, and a variety of other commercial contracts.
The successful candidate will be team-oriented with a strong focus on client service. Strong communication and time management skills are required. Four or more years of commercial contracting, procurement, or information technology experience is preferred. The attorney will have access to firm resources, including continuing legal education.
The position has an annual billable hour expectation of less than 1,000 hours, but no minimum hours are guaranteed. The attorney will be paid on an hourly basis for billable hours worked and recorded at a rate determined by experience. This position is not partnership-track or benefits-eligible. The position offers flexible hours but schedule will be subject to client needs. The attorney will telecommute from a home office in the District of Columbia or any U.S. state, other than California, in which the firm maintains an office, and the attorney must be licensed in that jurisdiction. At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position is $130/hr to $155/hr. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certification, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data. About the Role:
The Head of Corporate Governance Legal is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and guiding the company's legal strategy for corporate governance. How you will contribute:

Preferred Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active legal license in the relevant region.

Professional legal training from a highly regarded law firm, with significant post‑qualification legal experience.
Demonstrated in‑house legal experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector, in roles of increasing responsibility.

Business‑level fluency in English (spoken and written).

U.S. Base Salary Range: $281,400.00 - $442,200.00

The Children and Family Law Division (CAFL) of CPCS is seeking applicants for Summer 2026 internship positions across the Commonwealth. The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) is the state agency in Massachusetts responsible for providing an attorney when the state or federal constitution or a state statute requires the appointment of an attorney for a person who cannot afford to retain one. The agency provides representation in criminal, delinquency, youthful offender, child welfare, guardianship, mental health, sexually dangerous person, and sex offender registry cases, as well as in appeals and post-conviction and post-judgment proceedings related to those matters.

Interns will assist lawyers and work closely with social workers to represent children and parents in cases in which the Department of Children and Families (DCF) removes children from their homes because of claims of neglect or abuse. This unit also provides lawyers to children and parents in child requiring assistance (CRA) cases. Interns will have significant client contact through client interviews and home/placement visits, assist in case investigations, serviced advocacy on behalf of clients, negotiations with opposing counsel, legal research and writing for motion arguments, custody hearings, and termination parental rights trials, review of pre-trial discovery and DCF case files, attendance in education-related matters (suspension and IEP hearings), and appearances in Juvenile Court on behalf of CRA clients.

The Opportunity
HLA's Summer Law Clerk Program aims to contribute to the development of law students into public interest attorneys who serve people facing barriers to care and coverage. Our Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids (MHAP for Kids) is seeking two law clerks for a 10-week internship (full-time - 40 hours per week) during the Summer of 2026.
HLA is currently operating in a hybrid model with staff working both on-site and remotely. Arrangements for the Summer Law Clerks are flexible. HLA has run highly successful remote and hybrid Law Clerk programs since 2020.
About MHAP for Kids
HLA's Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids (MHAP for Kids) diverts children with unmet mental health needs from the juvenile justice system by helping them access mental health services. MHAP for Kids attorneys are embedded in Family Resource Centers (FRCs) across Massachusetts where they help at-risk youth overcome barriers to mental health services. A Boston University study of MHAP for Kids found that the program improves the health of children and their families.
Responsibilities
Availability to work full-time for a 10-week period during the summer of 2026. Internship dates are May 18, 2026 - July 24, 2026.
Assist attorneys with the representation of individual clients with duties such as conducting legal research, analyzing children's health and educational records, assisting attorneys' advocacy with schools and state agencies, and communicating with clients and key collaterals.
Conduct legal research on issues that pervade MHAP for Kids client matters to strengthen our practice program-wide.

Interest in the health care/insurance systems and passion for alleviating barriers to care.
Multilingual ability is strongly preferred.
Compensation
This position pays $6,000 (pre-tax) for a full-time 10-week Clerkship.
