3. Supervise Facilities functions: a. Prepare new workstations / offices for all new hires to insure proper and adequate needs. (Computer setup, business cards ordered, nameplate, manuals, etc.) b. Coordinate training and orientation for all new hires, including Merchant & Gould procedures, computers, telephones, copiers, fax & postage machine. c. Maintain and monitor the phone system and computer system. Call the local area service providers as needed for changes and maintenance. Change the nightly server backup tape. Work with the IT department to maintain the regional system. d. Planning and organization of monthly and annual office meetings and parties. e. Manage the process of ordering and maintaining office supplies including kitchen supplies and miscellaneous items. f. Maintain the local library in conjunction with the Librarian in the Minneapolis office.
4. Research / work on special projects as requested by Attorneys or other Administrative Directors.
5. Assist with day-to-day tasks as needed when there is a heavy workload and we must meet client deadlines including, e.g., answer switchboard, prep mail, send faxes, make copies, typing, etc.
6. Facilitate changes in procedures and encourage adaptation in order for the firm as a whole to increase its productivity and profits.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Position Summary
Life Time is looking for a Law Clerk that will support the consumer, privacy, cybersecurity, public accommodation, health or other regulatory law, including escalated member issues, and on non-real estate transactional, corporate and licensing legal matters, including regulatory/licensing issues, commercial contracting, securities, and public company governance matters. * Legal Research and Writing. Research and writing to support litigation (primarily Employment), pre-litigation disputes (customers or vendors), compliance initiatives, construction and licensing questions and privacy policies. Responsible for creating multi-state surveys.
* Contract review, drafting, negotiation and advising. Including buy-side supply, service and technology contracts. Additionally, the law clerk will advise business clients regarding existing agreements, including assessing risk, damages, obligations and termination rights.
* Investigations and Dispute Resolution. Investigating facts relating to legal claims (e.g. agency charges of discrimination). Investigating and negotiating the resolution of customer and vendor disputes.
Position Requirements
* Completed two semesters of school (minimum) at an accredited law school (effective on start date)
