About Secretary:
Provides administrative support to the County Attorney's Office by ensuring efficient office operations through tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, document processing, and coordination with internal staff and the public.
* Greets and assists visitors to the department, providing general information or directing inquiries.
* Administers incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely response and routing.
* Inputs, tracks and updates data into County databases, spreadsheets, and systems.
* Collects and process payments; issues receipts and maintains accurate financial records.

Role Overview
As the Paralegal - Dispute Resolution & Risk, you'll have a big mission. Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement.
Manage internal case calendars, deadlines, and litigation dockets to ensure timely filings and compliance with court rules.
Coordinate with outside counsel and internal business units to gather documents, information, and witness support.
Review, organize, and summarize discovery materials and evidence.
Assist with subpoena responses, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations.
Maintain litigation databases, case files, and matter management systems.
Support e-discovery processes, including collection, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
Responds to legal and situational concerns that arise in the course of the property management operations.

Assists in responding to Fair Housing Act issues, identifies key deficiencies, and assists in engaging outside counsel, when necessary, to respond to any FHA-related matters.
Works alongside and coordinates with employees in all departments throughout the company, third parties, vendors, and outside legal counsel on a variety of matters.
