Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.
Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case material.
Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.
Candidate Requirements:
5+ years' experience in Toxic Tort Defense litigation is required.
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience handling California cases is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Westlaw, PACER, and/or File & Serve Xpress.
Attendance & Punctuality: Consistently arrive at work and meetings on time; ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with attorneys, other paralegals, and legal administrative assistants.
Organization: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Customer service: Respond promptly to attorney and client requests for service and assistance; meet commitments.
Dependability: Follow instructions, complete tasks on time, work independently, and commit to the hours necessary to meet deadlines.
