Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate a high-volume General Liability docket for a Senior Managing Partner.
Serve as primary liaison between attorneys, legal administrative assistants, and other paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.
Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case materials.
Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
Record and submit contemporaneous billable time in accordance with firm policies.
Perform intensive administrative work and procedural tasks related to case management.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of General Liability Defense litigation experience.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Westlaw, PACER, and File & Serve Xpress.
Experience handling California litigation is strongly preferred.
