The Assembler is responsible for assembling components and systems used in the production of ambulances and specialty vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished components per work instructions
Install mechanical, electrical, and interior components
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions
Inspect work for quality and accuracy; correct defects as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety, quality, and production standards
Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and quality personnel
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Ability to read work instructions and basic drawings
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
Ambulance, automotive, RV, or specialty vehicle manufacturing
Mechanical, electrical, or interior assembly experience
Experience in a lean or production-based environment
Physical Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Follow a prism-based schedule.
Ability to properly assemble basic and intermediate components within the Roto department which includes but is not limited to cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting and/or using self-tapping screws to secure components to main body part.
Order and control hardware and ensure all is inventory is accounted for.
Ability to recognize and follow departmental quality guidelines.
Perform all aspects of product packaging including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns.
Knowledge of using basic hand and power tools.
Maintains a personal efficiency rating in accordance with Key Performance Targets not to fall below 100%.
Willing to cross train as needed in all the assembly cells which include non-Foam line, Ingredient Bin line, LCD line, Ferry 11-line, Bus Cart line, Kits, Packs, Food Bar & FSG line, Routing, Re-box area.
Print labels using computers and proper application methods.
Perform FG (finished goods) transactions with all associated labeling requirements.

Access the ESP program via computer.
