The Assembler I has ownership of the assembly stations assigned. They are responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. The Assembler I will be expected to perform basic and intermediate assembly processes at within the department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Follow a prism-based schedule. Ability to properly assemble basic and intermediate components within the Roto department which includes but is not limited to cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting and/or using self-tapping screws to secure components to main body part. Order and control hardware and ensure all is inventory is accounted for. Ability to recognize and follow departmental quality guidelines. Perform all aspects of product packaging including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns. Knowledge of using basic hand and power tools. Maintains a personal efficiency rating in accordance with Key Performance Targets not to fall below 100%. Willing to cross train as needed in all the assembly cells which include non-Foam line, Ingredient Bin line, LCD line, Ferry 11-line, Bus Cart line, Kits, Packs, Food Bar & FSG line, Routing, Re-box area. Print labels using computers and proper application methods. Perform FG (finished goods) transactions with all associated labeling requirements.
