Pro s of working at Lehigh Valley Heath Network was their health benefits,; health insurance, dental and eye, I never had one issue with it, in the 18 years i worked there. in 2016 when they got EPIC. Everyone was afraid of EPIC, I myself embraced it. I enjoyed working on EPIC all the time. They had a good support system with their IS Dept. Always were very helpful.
salary. They did speak as though everyone was created equal. But they was not the case. I think maybe nothing should be said, and then nothing would be expected. there has to be some perks getting a higher education. Better parking spots, ehh, not sure about that, but there wasn't much to complain about from my perspective, i was working for extra cash and health benefits. When a job was posted, 90% of the time, the team that posted it already had someone in mind for it, its just a formality to have it posted, which they say is fair, but if they already have someone in mind, why make people waste their time. It s just those little things, other wise i was fine
I was always happy to say i worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network, It was an honor so i always thought. I lived in a bubble of Lehigh Valley. It was a safe place and a reliable place. My perk to work there was being in the know of what was happening with the staff, with our doctors, hearing the good and the bad about different individuals, about what was going on with the hospital, for example with the take over. What physician was good and which office was easy to work with. That was definitely a perk being an employee.
I would improve the company culture by being fair and just to everyone. Someone should get a job, because of their knowledge of the position, not to meet a quota, and any nepotism
I prepared for an interview for lehigh valley health network, by researching the position, word of mouth, and reviewing questions, making inquiries. Showing up dressed appropriately and on time.
what i liked best about the CEO and the leadership team was knowing they were always there for us to look up to and be able to speak up and ask questions. HA
In my experience the compensation at Lehigh Valley Health Network compare to the industry is average
The representation of diverse demographics within lehigh valley health network is too large. They are available everywhere, but when they bought pocono medical hospital then tried to switch all my health issues up there was unacceptable to me, i liked my doctors in the valley and always planned on keeping them.
Personally the most joy i received at my job, was knowing i had a job, and was always greatful.
Good health benefits and a lot of PTO
Low salary, unhelpful management, toxic work culture, no flexibility with schedule
200 hours of PTO
Below average
