    Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking Internal/ Family Medicine - non-geriatric board-certified physician to add to its growing skilled nursing facilities and long-term care settings. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values support and innovation in patient care. Share call schedules with all clinicians in the division to ensure a manageable workload and work-life balance for the team. This section currently includes a nurse practitioner and interdisciplinary team members who implement individualized patient-care plans. The ideal candidate will be focused on delivering excellent and compassionate clinical care to the families of the Lehigh Valley and beyond. This position is located in the heart of Allentown,PA at our 17th Street hospital You will see an average of 10-15 patients a day You will provide comprehensive care for elderly in various settings such as: Skilled Nursing and Long term Care facilities LVHN's division of geriatrics, housed within the departments of family and internal medicine, consists of 14 physicians and 10 nurse practitioners who provide care for a vast variety of diagnoses across multiple settings. Our team works with family medicine residents and University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine students to produce unique research projects, abstracts and case reports yielding publications and presentations on a national level. This location has 8 physicians and 5 APC's. The office is open 7a-6p with call being rotated with other Physician and APC's. Patient slot durations consist of 40 minutes for new, wellness/preventative, TOC, and medical clearance and 20 minutes for return patients and acute visits. In a Family Medicine career with LVHN, you'll experience: Family medicine physicians see patients of all ages, from newborn to elder adults. We support in-office procedures, women's health procedures and sports medicine procedures for those with interest and training. Free scribe services Flexible Monday - Friday schedules Full time clinicians are scheduled for 36 patient care hours/week Call is shared with other practices in the region.
