This role is essential for designing and articulating end-to-end AI solutions that address our customers' most complex mission challenges. The Senior AI Solutions Architect will serve as the technical lead for business growth and customer engagement, acting as a key leader within the Ops.AI division. Primary Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design: Design and lead the development of innovative, compelling, and differentiated AI-powered solutions for strategic captures, proposals, and client engagements.
Growth & Capture Strategy: Partner with Business Development and line organizations to provide expert technical leadership throughout the capture lifecycle, including developing white papers, responding to RFIs, and leading technical volumes.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with customers, data scientists, engineers, and program managers to ensure solution designs meet mission requirements, are technically feasible, and align with strategic objectives.
Technology Evaluation & Application: Evaluate and recommend new AI technologies, tools, and partner capabilities to incorporate into solution designs, ensuring Leidos maintains a competitive edge.
AI Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on the practical application of AI for customer missions, presenting technical solutions to clients, partners, and internal executive stakeholders.
Compliance & Security: Ensure proposed solutions align with customer security requirements and incorporate principles of Responsible AI and risk management.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 15+ years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience.
Demonstrated experience designing and architecting end-to-end technical solutions for complex customer missions, particularly in the U.S. Government space.
Proven experience as a solution architect or technical volume lead on major captures and proposals. Expert-level understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including Large Language Models (LLMs), MLOps, and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Substantial understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data engineering, and software development as they apply to AI solutions.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within the national security, defense, or intelligence communities.
Experience with specialized government data domains (e.g., SIGINT, ELINT, GEOINT).
Deep experience with AI Assurance, AI security, and Responsible/Ethical AI frameworks.
Familiarity with integrating novel AI capabilities into existing enterprise system architectures.

What you'll do:
Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders across IT, InfoSec, HRIS, and more
Build and configure demo environments that bring the BetterUp experience to life
Deliver high-fidelity, narrative-driven demos tailored to customer goals and buyer personas
Serve as the technical point-of-contact throughout the pre-sales cycle, including security, API, and integration conversations
