    Leidos is seeking a talented life cycle logistician, located in our Dayton, Ohio office. Activities include providing integrated logistics and product support in fielding new systems/products in support of various emerging US Air Force (USAF) programs. Candidate shall apply logistics expertise to perform various tasks related to the planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain the system be fielded. Must be able to work successfully with all levels of engineering, program management, and program leadership, including logistical counterparts, AFLCMC directorates and headquarters, AFRL, HQ AFMC, prime contractors and subcontractors, and other government and private sector personnel. * Must be able to work on-site. Situational telework may be available* Primary Responsibilities * Provide logistical support for USAF programs and projects focused on aircraft weapon systems, subsystems, and related equipment. * Conduct and perform product support analysis (PSA) tasks using MIL-HDBK-502A * Perform Reliability & Maintainability Assessment (RMA) to determine, define, identify, document, and submit logistics support elements and data requirements. * Administratively provide, track, and maintain status of CDRLs pertaining to logistics tasks * Apply all required markings to individual product items, in accordance with USG approved requirements, to include safety and installation markings * Perform the Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) for individual project items IAW USG approved PHS&T requirements * Work with government and contractor engineers to identify ground support equipment (GSE) to support engineering design efforts, follow on production, and flight test demonstration efforts as applicable. * Provide technical analysis, authorship, and editing at pre/post-publication reviews and verification reviews of technical orders for both MIL-STD and COTS products * Handle tasks associated with records management and coordination of briefings and reports * Assists in producing or reviewing documents for the program office that support the breadth of the projects acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts. * Participate in integrated logistics support management meetings, PMRs, and related meetings * Review basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine maintenance/repair requirements * Apply logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy with a primary focus on the following product support elements: * Reliability and Maintainability * Core Support Considerations * Storage and Facilities * Support Equipment * Manpower and Personnel * Operational Depot Timelines * Operator Workloads * Government Furnished Equipment requirements for Prototyping efforts * Responsible for participating in the program's Support Equipment Working Group (SEWG) * Responsible for identifying all SE requirements and associated equipment recommendations required to operate, provide training for, and sustain at the operational level for the system via Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) Report submittals to the US Government stakeholders * Responsible for identifying and documenting all hand tools (powered and non-powered) required to support the system. * Work with other life cycle logisticians to provide product support to the Logistics Manager and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM's duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager. Basic Qualifications * Candidate shall have knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform independently in the position as a Life Cycle Logistician * BA/BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience, 2 of which must be in the DoD -OR- Associates degree in a Logistics related discipline and 10+ years of prior relevant experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team * Excellent writing and presentation skills * Technical writing experience * Must be a U.S Citizen * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications * Prior USAF logistician on KC-135 or similar 707 based MDS * OC/ALC experience and or interface. * Community College of the Air Force Degree in Logistics Management or related field * Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or higher in Life Cycle Logistics * USAF related Logistics Management experience * Prior US Air Force aircraft maintenance experience * Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition and logistics support programs is highly desired * Multi-User Engineering Change Proposal Automated Review System (MEARS) experience * Familiarity with configuration management databases such as Windchill If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. In conjunction with hospital leaders, contract management and value analysis functions, is responsible for providing analysis and support in the review of all supply and service agreements affecting the assigned acute care facilities. Is responsible for the analysis and facilitation of the Contract Management process at assigned facilities to include ensuring policy compliance. Manages and facilitates the value analysis process for assigned facilities. Accountable for maintaining all databases and records in accordance with established policies and guidelines. Responsible for staff selection, training, evaluation, performance improvement, and termination when needed. Designs, plans, implements and manages supply chain processes in all areas of the hospital including surgery, cath lab, and other procedural areas. Responsible for ensuring all customer needs are met according to their expectations in the areas of requisitioning, par level management, distribution, central supply, receiving and others as assigned. Provides operational support and service to managers, directors and executives in all facets of the hospital's supply chain. Researches, develops and implements strategy related to inventory management, including establishment of proper levels, low unit of measure programs and warehouse consolidation across all acute care facilities. Responsible for inventory replenishment and management for all areas of the hospital, including the development and conduct of physical/cycle count schedules. Accountable for the inventory accuracy relative to count and G/L value, as well as all variances and adjustments. Responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting of financial data/entries to the finance office. Leads, manages, and oversees the people and processes, delivering supply chain services in the hospital. These include central supply, shipping/receiving, inventory control, customer service, mail, linen, courier service, requisitioning, and others as assigned. Responsible for assuring proper and timely revenue capture for all supplies and implants. Accountable for enabling, participating in, and supporting the System's standardization and value analysis initiatives by coordinating evaluations and implementing conversions in a timely manner. Serves as the onsite advisor and liaison to all hospital departments and leadership for supply chain matters.
