Mr. Gorman, who was born in Australia, earned a B.A. and Law degree from the University of Melbourne and an M.B.A. from Columbia University

Seth P. Bernstein was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of AllianceBernstein (AB) in 2017. In 2018, he was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of Equitable Holdings. Prior to his appointment at AB, Bernstein had a distinguished 32-year career at JPMorgan Chase, most recently as managing director and global head of Managed Solutions & Strategy at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In this role, he was responsible for the management of all discretionary assets within the Private Banking client segment.
